Q: In which country is this produced?

It does not say anywhere on it but I would be really surprised if it was not made in China. A very good sprinkler though.

Q: Does this have a timer?

No it does not, but add-on timers at the faucet are not that expensive these days. The sprinkler coverage is great and well built.

Q: Is it normal to leak between the spinner and the piece that screws on to the base? I bought 2 and they both have a steady stream from this area.

I have one and actually have not had that problem. We have rather low water pressure at our home so maybe that's why I don't have a leak. With other hose connections (other than the Joey sprinkler) I have changed the rubber washer on the inside of the connection and that has resolved leaking problems. Good luck!
