Very useful

Cheap small and neat. But nothing to shout about.
It's very small and neat. Its cheap. Could be ideal for hanging over a holiday hotel balcony for a real scanner enthusiast...but otherwise no. Makes absolutely no improvement to a bog standard telescopic aerial. I made a mighty woof aerial following a you tube video last week and the performance is fairly stunning. Save the eight quid and put your money towards some copper tubing and have a go.

Very good considering it's size
I decided to buy this antenna just because it was so cheap and I enjoy playing with things like this. Anyway I used it on my Yaesu FRG-9600 along side my Icom IC-R30 with a Watson Supergainer.The results were quite amazing. This little thing performed as well as the Icom. Now I'm not saying it's brilliant because it will never compete with an external antenna but if space (or like me you have a wife that complains about my "boys toys") is at a premium or you live in a flat then this might brighten up your day.

Good Item
Picked up a little bit more with this, which was good, overall good for what it is and how small it is. Did upgrade to a magnetic antenna in the end though, which again picks up a lot more frequencies.

It works well and for the price its brilliant
Excellent small antenna much better than any rubberduck and better than the supergain antenna i was using. I only have it hanging from my downstairs window curtain pole and it picks up lots including air traffic , couldnt get hardly anything with rubberduck

Very small and not as good as duck aerial
Despite easing other comments I am not impressed with this productInitially tried indoors on window and eventually on a pole outside, not impressed

My drawer is getting full
Don't believe these good reviews received mine today & it's not picking up uhf or bug chanell it picks up normal fm but the factory rubber duck on my Baofeng uv-5r was picking up more n that is a nasty antenna. This window antenna is an absolute waste of money. 3rd antenna I have bought now wish I'd just bought a decent exterior 1 for what i have spent up to now.

great antenna nice and small i have it 30 feet on a pole and it is pulling in loads of signals from all over its better than my full size antenna very pleased with it as useing it on my sdr dongle and scanner great item will be buying again
