We needed a landline because unfortunately our phones from US Cellular do not get a signal half the time, even in our own home. These have come in handy and my son knows how to use it in case of emergencies. It is easy to program and the speaker phone feature works well. We also like the color and clarity. The charging stations are nice so we can place a set of two throughout the house.

Yes, some of us still have landlines! The set that I had was about 20 years old and the batteries kept dying. Almost everything about this phone is great. Love how it actually 'speaks' to tell you who is calling. Most of the instructions are pretty specific. The only thing I would change is the ring tone. There are approximately 7 tones to choose from but none of them actually sound like a phone to me. Love that I can use this on speaker (doing dishes or dusting while chatting). Price was prefect, great size, and no problem with reception. I set a different tone for the handset in my bedroom. So easy to read!

This is my second purchase of this phone. My first purchase was over five years ago, and I had to order another one. I dropped it too many times, and two of the phones lost the speaker capability. So, this time, I decided to get the warranty. The phone is easy to use, and it serves its purpose.

The phone quality is pretty good they definitely don’t feel cheap. Amazing value for the price. Ring tone is loud and the name saying feature of the person is great to. The bright is good I can see it in the sunlight. It also has spam protection so haven’t received much spam calls.

It was really difficult to find a landline phone with good reviews because they all appear to have issues, but this Panasonic model works well for me. I have not added on addition phones to mine.PROS: You can adjust the ringer volume. Sound quality is very clear for myself and the person on the other end of the phone. I have had a 45 minute long phone conversation with no issues. The power phone cord is about 40 inches long. Buttons are easy to use on the handset and the view screen on the phone is easy to read.CONS: It comes with a manual but the directions were a little hard to understand. There is a “quick guide” on the inside flap on the box for my phone and that was very helpful. It does not light up when not in use. The phone announces out loud who is calling you which i don’t like. I don't know if i can change that. There are a lot of other features on this phone but i have not used them.The phone needs to be charged for 7 hours before you can use it. I set up mine so it could charge overnight. Overall I am very happy with this model.

We used a similar Panasonic phone set for more than 10 years, and the phones were easy to use, uncomplicated and worked well. However, it was time to replace them. We purchased this phone set expecting the same good quality and ease of use like the earlier purchase. The new phones came with an instruction book that when opened made us laugh. Talk about a mountain of new features. We were overwhelmed and confused often. We didn't realize the complexity of today's communication environment. To use each feature one must enter a code for it to work. We like the Block Call feature, but we really don't expect to need or want the majority of the other features. We found that each phone in the new set has a problem with the speaker volume. When you answer a call the speaker's voice is barely audible even with the volume set to maximum. When we receive a call now we always have to use the speaker phone setting to hear the person. Even then, we experience some audio distortion that makes it difficult to clearly hear the speaker. The keys are large and light in the dark which is most helpful. If a lot of features are important to you, and your hearing is really good then this is the phone for you.

Panasonic is the best.I like that I can block the call. You need the party to be speaking, in order to block the line.This has a monitor also.Very easy to set-up.My previous phone I had over 20 years & it was still working.I wanted a newer model.
