Yes it works but people need to read instructions and carry out annual maintenance, ie.replacing as per instructions!!! Any scale reducer will reduce any scale from causing damage to appliances relying on water!! As a plumber/boiler technician I believe that we should all have a type of scale reducer on the mains on the mains entering the building,so it covers most or all water units/appliances…..!!!!!!
