Brilliant Pump, to think of all the hard work cleaning out my mothers Goldfish tank, if only I had known this pump was available before, it would have saved lots of time and effort cleaning out the tank.This pump makes the job of cleaning out a fish tank a joy instead of a chore, its so easy to use, just pumps the messy water into a bucket and all the bits your fish leave in the water, and u just refill the tank with fresh water, your fish is happy, u are happy, and it all takes less then ten minutes to do, unlike before. its also easy to clean, and once its dry, u just pop it back into the bag ready for next time. its easy to store as well, as its not very big, and takes up little room. the price was also great value and included delivery, which was super quick.I would recommend this to any fish keeper, as its so easy to use, great value, and your fish will love u for getting it 4 their tank. its 100 % u cant go wrong. I would never have believed it was so good if I had not seen it working with my own eyes, its just Fantastic. Thank you, :)

It's cheap but it works. I use it every Friday evening to do a 30% water change (40 litres) in my aquarium and it does so efficiently. You begin the flow by squeezing quickly 2-3 times on the blue valve, and I have an 8 litre bucket that it fills in under two minutes.It comes with a few extension pieces plus a filter piece to prevent any fish from being sucked up. I've not had any fish come close to being sucked up, but it's nice to have that protection in place. It is possible to use that filter as a means of cleaning gravel, but I found it soon got clogged up and the flow of water reduced so I have a separate gravel cleaning pump that I use for that purpose.All in all, I can do my weekly water change and clean in under half an hour with this so I'm nothing but pleased with it.

I've had this a month or two and it's worked as expected ... if you siphon water out of a fish tank _without_ a hand pump, then this is WAY easier. Sometimes it takes a few squirts and sometimes it loses its prime, but on a whole, it's pretty good.This is a replacement as my last one's valve started to stick. It can become blocked if you're sucking up big items, such as food / fish etc. It does come with a strainer (which I'm guessing is to help clean gravel) but I'm sucking up bigger pieces of fish and other turtle food, so I prefer not to use the attachments.The hose is long enough to go from the tank and onto a bottle below.WARNING -- use a fairly big bucket at the bottom, as it fills up pretty quickly -- I use a 5L bottle, and it's quick to fill (which is good, just that I've over-spilled quite a few times.)Will it last forever - no - it's made out of thinish plastic, so I'm not sure how long it'll last. If it lasts a year, then I'll be happy. It's not that it feels bad, it's just from my last one, I'm not being unrealistic.Recommendation:Would I buy it again -- yes - this makes life so much easier than just a normal hose - it doesn't have to be this brand etc, but I'd definitely recommend a hand pump

This isn't one of those flimsy aquarium gravel cleaners....its worth paying that little bit more. It empties the tank after a couple of squeezes. Great buy!!

Especially for the price, this could have been designed better.What you’ll get is a flexy ridged tube and then two straight tubes which are the bit that goes into the tank ( like the stick on a vacuum cleaner). These tubes aren’t strong enough, so they collapse and bend if they’re against the top rim of the tank or if you apply too much pressure, which makes it very hard to clean the tank properly. When the tube collapses, you lose suction. Getting the suction started using the blue bit is fairly easy, but in its entirety it’s hard to use.All in all, I’d do some research and buy a better alternative if I were you, as this one doesn’t perform well.

Really good and works well

So changing tank water is nothing but a pain. With this its as simple as a few pumps then watch. To use it the end where you want the water to come out needs to be at a lower height than the source of the water, by doing that the water will flow quickly and easily with the vacuum created. Then to put the clean water in simply repeat the action with the clean water flowing into the tank.It really is easy to use and can change tank water in a minute or two

I intially bought the traditional interpret gravel cleaner, which has no pump. But it was such a pain getting it going manually achy arms and frustration. The pump action biorb siphon and those alike eliminate those issues. I still have issues getting the pump going sometimes but it doesn't take as long as the traditional gravel cleaners. I didn't giv it full stars however because i don't like the gravel cleaning performance .compared with the interpret one it doesn't seem to have as much power, so lots of fish waste, food is left on the substrate. Also i don't like the hose or hose extension it is tough stiff plastic, whereas the interpret has a flexible hose on it. The stiff hose doesn't help when adding water if i leave my bucket of water higher than the tank with the hose in it, I often find the hose won't sit in the bottom of the bucket without me holding it there. Had it been. Flexible I'm sure it would. I still prefer it over the interpret for removing or adding water because it eliminates achy arms. But for thorough gravel cleaner i prefer the interpret gravel cleaner.

ça a fonctionné 30 secondes ! au bout de 10 pressions il y a eu une prise d'aire qq part (impossible à trouver) et le produit ne fonctionne plus dutout. très déçue d'autant que les 30 premières secondes étaient prometteuses

Amazing and the extra parts really help

This pump is perfect for the job of cleaning my 3-gallon tank (which I keep in my college dorm room). I didn't want an electric gravel cleaner, as they are much pricier than this and not really intended for small tanks, but I wasn't faring very well without some sort of pump to get the gunk off the bottom. This is the perfect solution.It's cheap and it works.I just set up a bucket under my desk and let the water drain into that. It takes a couple squeezes, and once you get it going you have to work fast--but it won't ever empty your tank; it leaves behind about a gallon if you let it go till it's done.Always remove small fish first, and careful with the gravel. This sucks up anything it touches. I don't like the gravel attachment though; it's just too big, gets clogged up and prevents me from getting into small areas.It's really a very simple product. I love the simplicity.
