5 star rating would mean 5 good things about the product - it's reasonably priced, good quality, durable, good features (in this case, the range of grits) and good results (i.e it does what it's designed to do, no snakes or ladders about it, straight to the point etc) bonus points can include the logo and front cover among a host of other likeable attributes. I would seem like a cynic but all smarminess aside, a truly great product, the range of grits really help with sharpening, there could be a very low grit like 40 to remove stubborn, thick layers of rust on other things and i would be happy to pay extra for that but it's also the quality of the paper that gets me, even when it gets tatty and torn you can just tape the back and it's instantly re-useable wet or dry, it just does'nt fail to amaze me what can be achieved with a wide range of grits, for this set is mostly your bread and butter before you add a filling so to speak. don't make the mistake of having high grit only, work your way up! very good sandpaper, i don't have anything negative to say about it so it is a well deserved 5 stars. i would highly reccomend this to anyone who wants to sharpen metal or remove rust, that's my primary use for it and it does wonders.

This sandpaper works great. I needed some 1000 grit wet/dry and figured I'd get a couple of sheets of mixed grits at the same time. Out of the many listings that matched my needs I chose this one for no specific reason and I am happy I did. After using this sandpaper it genuinely is the best sandpaper I've ever used, I will look for this brand above others in future. There might be better sandpapers out there but this is the one I will be using.The sheets are pretty flexible and the sanding surface is strong so does not crack and fracture quite as quickly as other sandpapers I have used. I bought these primarily to smooth out the surfaces of 3D prints and it does a great job of that when wet or dry.

Some people who rated this poorly claim to have received an unbranded product which I would not consider acceptable and Amazon shouldn't do this. Luckily my purchase was Starke branded and was good quality, working both wet and dry and lasting well

great quality I tried using a different band first that cost me manny hours of work at eh paper brock readily and then causes scratches terrible but this sand paper is quality the opposite and I was glad to get some decent quality paper of such a fine grade altho I wish it went all the way to 3000be warned the set that goes up to 3000 being sold by LANHU is absolute garbage that will likely waste your time , I thought it would be good as it has 8 positive reviews but none of them actually brought the products so , I will put a negative review on that one to try and help other from wasting their time as I​ have with the poor quality productI have been trying to fix perspex glass and this paper does the job well

A great choice for all sanding requirements, these sandpaper sheets are brilliant for every job you can think of. I used them to sand my electric & gas meter doors. The coarser grain got rif of the tarnish & old paint, while the finer grit smoothed it off & gave a great key for the new paint. Being Wet and Dry, they can be used for outside work such as benches, car bodywork, rusty railings, etc... If the sheets clog up with old paint, just rinse them out & start sanding again because they are waterproof & easy to clean. Really, at this price you can't go wrong. Even if you don't need the whole range of grit density, you could pay more for just the grit strength you need from somewhere else.Highly recommended.

Good sandpaper but have had better for the price, not to sure about the waterproof claim as mine seems to fall apart with the slightess bit of water or wd40

Boat this for sanding back Gelcoat on a boat. This was was for making a repair to the Hull.Sand paper is the best wet/dry I have ever used. Most paper disintegrates and falls apart whilst sanding Gelcoat but this paper is fantastic and works a treat.
