Comvita Unpasteurised Manuka Honey from New Zealand (UMF 10+, MGO 263+) - 500g

I did loads of research before I decided to buy Comvita Manuka Honey. It seems it's one of the original and one of the best and I'm not disappointed. Lovely taste and texture and its done wonders to relieve my Gerd.My only complaint is the utterly rubbish next day delivery service that Amazon is currently providing with "Amazon Logistics Carrier". All but one of my orders in the last two months (and I order a lot) has been mis delivered, or completely lost. Likewise this order did not arrive, despite the fact that the delivery person claimed in their delivery notes "delivered as per instructions", utter rubbish. I sent Amazon my 5th mis delivery complaint email and they sent out a replacement. This too was mis delivered and left unattended on the doorstep of a house several doors away from home. I wouldn't have been able to retrieve this second package, if the residents hadn't been friends with my direct neighbours. Appalling service from Amazon.

I've been buying the Comvita brand for a while, and can honestly say that I take it religiously everyday and have not had cold or flu once yet. Really good for digestion too, preferably before the meal, as it prepares the stomach for digestion. I deviated and bought another brand which was apparently 10+ maunka, immediately felt shortchanged by the quality compared to Comvita. Will remain loyal in the future, real manuka should have a sweet and somewhat medicinal smell. The texture should be thick and a mid/dark syrupy brown. Other manuka does not have that natural medicinal fragrance that Comvita has and actually smell more like refined and plain raw sugar. The medicinal properties are definitely higher in this brand but the flavour is well-rounded so worth every penny.

Manuka honey was recommended for Gerds,so I decided to try it.Having looked at lots of reviews on various sites,I was happy that this was good quality.It arrived promptly despite the bank holiday and I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the jar.It is recommended for Gerds to eat it with food,but is so delicious,I use a teaspoon 3 times a day.It is smooth ...bit like a very soft toffee.It would be very nice on fruit salads/ice cream/in summer drinks.I expect the jar to last quite a few weeks.I have always bought honey but this is by far the best I have tasted and will be ordering this from now on.It is not cheap ,you can get Manuka for less,I do need to be careful with spending,but this is just so pleasant.

Comvita brand has been used by us for long time. This is very good for health. It does not need to be taken in a large dose, except in case of sickness such as cold, flu. In such cases, we use this with lemon extract, warm purified water to make lemon hot water. It works always. Unlike conventional honeys which often contains sugar and other non-natural products, Comvita manuka is genuinely natural. We use this in case we have a minor wound, to apply it. As it is known that manuka honey has a healing properties.For your healthy digestive system and as well as overall healthy, it is better to use manuka honey instead of sugar.

This was purchased as a medicinal product for my English Bulldog. He has a skin condition and is constantly itchy, he is on steroids and a special diet but this still doesn't seem to be doing the trick. I had heard good things about Manuka honey in regards to animal use so thought we would give it a go! Well, I think the poor dog has some competition the kids and husband adore the honey and I have to hide it from them! The taste is fantastic, I've never tasted honey quite like it. Whilst my dog loves having his daily teaspoon of honey for over a month, we haven't noticed any improvements with his skin condition, this isn't to say it wouldn't work for other dogs. On a more positive note it worked wonders for me when I the flu a few weeks ago, I made a drink with the honey, hot water and lemon. It really did shorten the duration of my illness. I will certainly be buying more of this for human consumption!

Brilliant product and cheapest available. The texture and taste are fantastic without being too sweet.Using first thing on a morning and last at night.

This manuka honey seems to be top notch, so I'm waiting now to see how it will improve my state of health. Its taste is ok, considering the properties of the active components present within.What I don't like is when I get some good stuff in a plastic jar, so this is a big minus in terms of everything, but mostly in terms of respect and trust.Put simply, Comvita, you do need to work on this aspect of your business, which is simple and rewarding on long term.

Seems to help my lips really well as a balm. Skin felt nice after a facial mask thought.Swallowing the stuff didn't seem to do anything, which was what I bought it for, would only use this for external application on retrospect.3 stars as it didn't do what I wanted but the lip balm was convenient but wouldn't need 500g for years of this.. and its expensive for something that doesn't really do what I wanted, worth a try I guess and maybe others will have more luck.I was having 1-2 teaspoons raw without anything warm.I've got maybe a 5th left that I will try for various ailments so will update if it becomes useful for something else.
