Yes 3080 pro can cut thin woods and acrylic without issue. The cutters that come with it are sufficient for engraving and cutting thin wood veneers. If you are using it to cut out shapes or parts 3mm is about as thick as I care to cut it takes a lot of passes the thicker the material.
