Just like the description says this is a great fun novelty toy for a kiddo! I love the option to do batteries or plug in with the USB cord. I personally prefer to plug it in b/c batteries didn't last too long and the brightness is much better with the plug. The size is great for a kiddo and not too big where it makes it awkward to put it on anything, think size of a snow globe. It looks. Ice, a black tiered stand with a clear sturdy globe on top. If you are looking for a fun nostalgic toy for a kiddo, this is a great option!

Got this for a toddler, and seeing it's a great cause and affect toy tor his age, and likely a great toy for older then toddler age.Works and built well. just note the Ball part is made of glass.

I bought this as a christmas present for my daughter, and it lasted almost 6 months. It fell off a coffee table (not too high up) and shattered.. but she enjoyed her time and had fun with it while it lasted!With this model you can use with batteries or plugged in. When you plug it in, it is way more vibrant than just having batteries. I think it is a fair price, but arrived smaller than expected, and much more fragile than others I have purchased from Spencer's gifts.Overall I would recommend for an older child, teen, or adult.. I was mistaken when I thought it would be durable enough for a young child (Lol) It was loved and will be missed!

Awesome plasma ball! Works so good, very interesting and knowledgeable for kids.

Cool toy, but fragile. Not safe around small children, my one year old pulled it down from a table and the glass ball shattered into the tiniest pieces. It was cool, but I would not buy another. Much cheaper compared to buying it in a giftshop somewhere.

This item is very tiny. It is the size of a snow globe. The entire thing is made of plastic, including the clear part. It has a usb connector, not an actual wall outlet cord. This “Plasma” globe does not cause your hair to stand up while you touch it. It did not serve the purpose of our needs. It is very bright, but you get what you pay for. It will be returned.

This is such a fun gift! It’s a great value plasma ball and works really well. The size is perfect for storing on a bookshelf.
