I seldom write product reviews. This product met and exceeded my expectations. I needed these rivet nuts to install a set of running boards on my 2023 Dodge RAM 2500. They exactly fit the openings, the provided parts performed exactly as hoped, and the installation was surprisingly quick. I only needed 8 of the 12 provided but they were excellent.

I loved how perfectly they fit my truck. I had purchased another set that Amazon said fit my truck but didn’t. Great quality, there is a YouTube video of a guy installing the running boards and he recommends this set

Used to install the sidesteps on a 2020 Ram 1500 classic. Rivnuts worked as they should. However, had to chase the threads in the nuts with an M8x1.25 tap to prevent the bolt from galling in the nut.Also, the supplied bolt for using with the mandrill to mushroom the nut failed (see photo) on the second install, using the OEM specified torque of 221 in lbs. Fortunately was able to get the bolt out without a major operation. Switched to a graded M8x1.25 bolt for the remaining installs.

Kit came with all the nuts/bolts needed to install my running boards. Good product for the most part and relatively easy to use. There are a few decent YouTube videos out there that will serve as a decent guide to installing the rivnuts properly. I did find that two or three of the rivnuts and bolts had trouble threading. Take your time, and don't overtighten. One of the rivnuts didn't crimp all the way. I took it very slow using a ratchet, and one of them that I took to the same number of turns as the rest never tightened to the frame. It was the only one that I had a problem with. Use plenty of WD-40 or other similar product, and take your time.

I had one nut that did not have the threads in it so i was one short i used a tap and die on it hopefully it will work. Tried to get them to send me one but they would not without proof. I had no way to send them a pic of the defective one. So supplier would not send me a new one Update I guess the supplier is going to send me one after all Worked great for putting running boards on my 2009 dodge Ram 1500 crew cab

Works as it should

I have a 2023 ram 3500 and it did not work with my truck. I had to get pieces welded on to the truck to mount the running boards. They seem like they would be good quality though.
