Real deal. I recommend.
I was hesitant to buy this MacBook in acceptable condition, but it has 30 day return policy so no need to be scared. Anyway got it looking mint condition, but still didn’t want to leave a review because I was wondering would it actually be a good computer besides just looking mint. Turns out it works great.P. S. I don’t have any heavy programs on this Mac so I don’t know if this computer deal with heavy duty stuff.

Good alternative
So far so good. Item works as it should. Battery life is good. On occasion it does get very hot if there are to many apps open.At this proce point it's good alternative to people who are thinking about switching from PC to Mac, but aren't 100% commited. It's also a great option for a kids first computer without breaking the bank.

BUYER BEWARE!!
I bought 2 of these for my pending college students and gave them as grad gifts (so recently). Lesson learned, immediately unpack and test for a few DAYS. One works perfectly, as most reviews stated. The other might as well be a doorstop. It's battery will not keep a charge, AT ALL. It will immediately shut down. I was willing to eat the $126 cost of a new battery. Today I get this from Seth a genius at "the Mac Guys". To quote, "The battery did not fix the issue. This means there is a problem with the connector to the battery logic board. To relace that is $307 not includung our mark up and labor. I could have purchased a new Mac. I would very much like a replacement as I am sure this was a clear error. As this was a recently an Amazon renewal company, I am confident Amazon can help! I will edit review if Amazon or the company resolve the issue.

Very Pleased
I am very happy with this device, so far it is very quick and quiet. It does not get too hot. The keyboard shows some significant wear but is still in good condition. There are also a few scratches on the device. Outstanding price, the battery show that it is at 99% of its max health which is amazing. The screen resolution is great, and the device as a whole does not weigh too much. So far the 8GB memory option has been plenty for my needs.

Stunning bargain with just a little bit of luck.
I used an exact replica of this model (just an 8GB/25GB unit) for two years for remote work. It might have crashed twice in that entire time, even with hundreds of browser tabs at a time (most apps were cloud-based). With that experience in mind, I think a 16/256 configuration M1 MacBook Air is more than sufficient for most tasks a user is going to need this for. I seriously lucked out with this machine; getting the maximum 16GB RAM for it adds a performance boost that you don't get from the stock configuration. Of course, the space isn't enough if you want to use Adobe Creative Suite or big collections of Microsoft Office 365, but I have used those apps on M1 Macs before and the computing power is more than sufficient by itself. I have an external M.2 SSD that I plan to use for external storage.I was fortunate enough to get one in pristine condition with MacOS Sequoia 15.0 installed, with 3 months of AppleCare+ (this really surprised me). Look for this when you get yours! I've already fully updated the software. External and internal condition was virtually mint condition - no screen issues at all, no scratches or dings anywhere on the body, no keyboard issues at all. I definitely did not expect this. Luck of the draw. It's perfect for what I intend for its use. For the price I got ($480!), so long as you get a good unit, it's unbeatable. Who needs a Chromebook? Easy choice for me. Sure, I'd like MagSafe and more ports, but man this thing is sweet.

Excellent buy. Perfect condition. Macs are not cheap but they’re excellent imo. This is my first personal Mac and I couldn’t be happier.
