A good book on Cleopatra VII
I read the book from start to end on one day in two sittings, obviously because it it well written and keeps the reader attached. I will call it a book of historical facts around the life of Cleopatra VII, where she, a Greek descendant, was the last pharaoh of entire Egypt at a time when the Roman Empire was at its peak power in Rome. The book aptly describes her struggles for survival of herself and Egypt, in which she used her charm, beauty and intellect to attract two powerful Roman generals on her side. The book also brings out the differences between the Egyptian and Roman culture.I would say the book is well written and is a must read for those who wants to know about Cleopatra as I did.

Not a very titillating read
Wasn't as titillating as expected, a pretty mediocre approach. More importantly how dumb are the publishers to publish a book on Queen Cleopatra, but use Queen Nefertiti as the cover art...?!

One of the "must read" books
This book is certainly an eye-opener about the life of Cleopatra and the Roman Generals- Julius Caesar and Mark Antony.
