Looks a bit silly, but ergonomically the best Android/Xbox controller around
TLDR review: while the Nacon Rig MG-X Pro controller may not win any prize for its aesthetics, it would hands down win any awards for the most comfortable telescopic controller for mobile devices. Definitely worth a buy for anyone looking for comfort for long gaming sessions. For the full review, read below. When I started streaming games to my mobile devices, I initially bought a phone clip for my Xbox One controller. While it felt okay for the most part, I never really liked the way all the weight was placed at the top of the controller. Since then, I've been on a hunt for the best telescopic controller. Throughout the years, many controllers I've tried were usually decent enough, but always fell short of my expectations in one way or another. This controller has come closest to hitting the mark for everything I've been looking for.In terms of design, the controller looks big, bulky, and rather silly from an artistic perspective, especially when compared with the nicer look of the Moga XP7-X. In terms of size and feel though, this is the closest you'll get to an official Xbox One or Series S/X controller. It almost feels as if they sliced an official controller in half and stuck each half to the sides of a mobile device. The grips are a little smaller though, so it doesn't fill your hands quite as much as the official Xbox controller. The body has a nice textured plastic feel, as well as a large grip that is very comfortable to hold for long gaming sessions. The Ipega Red Knight, Ipega 9083S, Razer Kishi, Saitake STK-7007X, and even the Moga XP7-X are just a few of the controllers that I've tried that simply can't match the comfort of the Nacon Rig MG-X Pro.While this controller is definitely the best telescopic mobile controller I've ever used, there are a few issues that may disappoint some gamers.1. Dead zones - Every telescopic controller I've ever tried has larger deadzones than the official Xbox controllers. The Nacon Rig MG-X Pro is no different in this regard. This does help prevent stick drift from developing, but it means you won't perform as well in online competitive third or first person shooter games. While it does have deadzones, they don't seem nearly as bad as many cheaper Chinese controllers. I would say the deadzones are relatively small compared to most third-party options out there.2. Can't fit larger mobile devices - Like most telescopic controllers (aside from Ipega's controllers), the MG-X Pro pretty much won't be able to fit any large tablets. There is only one 7 inch tablet that I have found that fits the controller perfectly, which is the new Lenovo Tab M7 (see images attached to this review). I have an Amazon Fire 7, as well as a Huawei MediaPad T3, and while both have 7 inch screens, the controller can't extend out far enough to fit the larger bezzles on both tablets. I really wish Nacon would increase the telescopic range in a future version of this controller. In any case, while it is nice that you can at least game on a 7 inch display with the Lenovo Tab M7 on the MG-X Pro, the M7, unfortunately, is a low spec device that performs even worse than than newest 2022 Amazon Fire 7 tablet. Don't even bother trying to play Genshin Impact, Call of Duty Mobile, or any other graphically intensive mobile game. Even when trying to play a relatively forgiving game like Roblox, the lag is so bad as to make the experience unplayable. For streaming however, the MG-X Pro with the M7 is a good option for gamers that want to stream to a bigger screen using Steam Link or Xbox Game Pass. This is how I've been using my MG-X Pro and M7 and the experience is really quite awesome (even if the M7 screen is lower resolution). The Lenovo Tab M7 has a length of exactly 17.5 cm, which is the absolute maximum size for the telescopic range of the MG-X Pro, so if you can find another large phone/tablet, as long as it is within 17.5 cm in length, it should fit just fine. Most people who are considering a purchase of the MG-X Pro are also probably considering the Moga XP7-X, especially since they are around the same price range. While the MG-X pro definitely feels better ergonomically, the XP7-X is still an overall good choice and may even be a better choice for some gamers. It looks better aesthetically, has two additional mappable buttons on the back, and has a green LED indicator to let you know how much battery is remaining in the device. It doesn't extend as far though, so it can't quite fit the Lenovo Tab M7, unless of course, you cram the tablet into the controller, which makes the controller bend in a way that looks like it could damage the telescopic extender given enough time.To conclude, I wholeheartedly recommend the Nacon Rig MG-X Pro for anyone that wants to stream or game on mobile devices. It may look a bit ridiculous, but if playing comfortably on your phone/tablet for many hours at a time is important for you, I am confident to say this is likely a purchase you won't regret.

Great !!! But for “One” thing…
The thing is a beast. And yes! That is a Samsung S22 ultra with a minimal case on. The size of it makes it that you need a case to carry it for "if like me" you hate tor damage your goods. As far as the phone case Granted, without the case it fits perfect. Yet, this case was my first case I purchased. My other case did not fit. Though with the case it’s snug, but I wouldn’t swing the controller through the air.I love it ….. But !!! This is my second phone and I also have an IPhone with the Backbone controller. Works great. Love that too. The build on this controller is a little better for I have broken a Backbone twice already. They are good with there warrentee, but it still sucks.Only thing is, this "does just work for Xbox" (I mean , can't youread ? It clearly states just that)) and works amazingly great!!! And all that’s that's just fine and dandy … What I am completely in utter disbelief, and this is a MIND BLOWER !!! Yes your main competition is backbone because all the others suck. But design fail of the century!!! Scenario : you make a bad ass controller and it throws the competition out the window regardless it's size and only main access to an Xbox and "with that ""Just there Game Pass!!"" (Which is fine l, great games there) But doing anything for a gamer and not thinking about longevity. For the biggest design flaw in mobile gaming !!! "YOU CANY PLUG AND PLAY!!!!" I mean what ????? I got this thing thinking "I found the one!!!" It's amazing, great build , feel , controls, great build but..... Once I played almost 2 hours and burned out my battery for my Samsung "Especially since recharging an s22 Ultra at zero power takes forever.... well, went in my bag (I MEAN YOU HAVE TO CHARGE THE CONTROLLER BY ITSELF ) but you have no ability to charge your phone... what kind of garbage mistake was this. This controller does not plug into the USB-C…. The problem!!! You sit down for some gaming on it and suddenly your phone says it’s running out of charge…. So, you have to stop. Plug in your phone and by that time it’s gonna take awhile to charge…. (That’s why I have a “switch”) so I can do just that. With the Backbone on my Apple I can plug and play… They should have designed it so that even though it’s Bluetooth…. That the back end was open so you could slide a cord into the phone…. Or even have an angle USB-C cord that came with it that could slip into a hole and into the phone…. That would also give the phone more support as to not falling off the controller…Yet…. Other than that, it’s good quality and not much different then my XBOX X/S controller. Unfortunately for you, Backbone just came out with a usb-c version...That's a bummer, you had it with this one- but lost it.

Works great!
I have a Samsung Z Fold 4. It fits great into the controller. It even works with my big phone case. So, yes. It works well with the 4. Tried playing the new Indiana Jones game and another racing game. The controls felt great. The feedback from the controls felt just like my Xbox controller as well. Had to install mapping software (Octopus) for some Android games, as some don't normally accept controllers. It works just fine with those working together. I've tried other controllers, but this one has the best feel. I'd easily recommend this to anyone. Well worth the money they are asking. The compatibility alone with all of the available game launchers is a big win.

Horrible company to deal with
One of the Controllers buttons stopped working within a month. Contacted company customer support they acted like everything was fine and gave me a email to contact. They wanted my name, address, phone, receipt normal stuff. And not so normal like picture of box. Video showing button doesn't work. I been back and forth with them for a month and they still have not told me were to ship my controller to get it fixed or how to get it replaced. In fact I haven't heard from them in over a week.Edited: Well it's almost 4 months. Company sent me a new controller after 2 months. It broke after 2 matches. One of the bumpers stopped working just like before. They asked for it back. I shipped back. Time will tell. Im sure I will get another eventually that i will sell. I bought a GameSir X2 Pro. Its small but works perfectly for weeks now.
