Dexter-Russell (S134PCP) - 3" Boston-Style Oyster Knife - Sani-Safe Series

This oyster knife has been the most versatile tool in my kitchen and just needed another one. This one is straight point, but I have the curved tips also. Dexter Russell knives of several sizes are the most reached for here.

Great usage.

This is the oyster knife to buy. I've bought other oyster knifes that were cheaper, but don't waste your money. This product is sturdy enough for the toughest oysters. You won't bend or break the tip. This will be your favorite oyster knife!

Great tool

We had another set of oyster knives and those knives just would not open oysters easily. This knife is amazing- opens super easily. Safe and it is sharp at the same time. Well made just like any other dexter knife. Pricey but worth it. We shuck 2-3 dozen every week and it seems durable. Totally recommend this knife.

The man who shucks oysters at my favorite restaurant recommended this. He was right. I have struggled with other knives and this one definitely works better. Place it in the hinge end of the oyster and twist.

We love oysters in my house and this is a great little oyster knife. Stop using a fork, paring knife, or table knife and get a dedicated oyster knife. We recently shucked 50 in one go on Christmas and this raced through them with no tearing. The handle is big and easy to grip and doesn't retain any smells.

I found an article online that mentions using this as a tea knife/pick to pick apart tea cakes like puerh. I can say that I agree and it's the easiest and best method I've found, and much safer than the very sharp picks! The flat blade lets you get between the leaves much easier and breaks off larger flat pieces rather than broken chunks.
