I’ve tried my fair share of pomades over the years, but REUZEL Concrete Hold Matte Pomade has truly stood out. Recommended to me by my stylist, I’ve been using it for a while now, and I must say, it feels and smells absolutely amazing.First off, the scent is fresh and clean without being overpowering, which is a huge plus for me. When it comes to the product’s performance, it does exactly what it promises. I have coarse, thick Asian hair, which can be tricky to style, but this pomade holds it in place all day long without the need for constant touch-ups. The hold is firm but not too stiff, so my hair doesn’t feel crunchy or unnatural. It gives my hair a matte finish, which I love, because it doesn’t look greasy or shiny, just natural and textured.What really impresses me is that it doesn't leave white flakes in my hair like some other pomades I've tried. That’s always been an issue with other products I’ve used, but with REUZEL, I don’t have to worry about residue or flakes throughout the day. This has been my favorite pomade for a while. I have thicker and curlier hair. It doesn’t take too much work to getting going into the hair and it has a great hold. The scent is minimal which I like and doesn’t have a bunch of shine. Overall it is great quality and works well.

I have been using hair product for men for almost 30 years. Reuzel stands at the top. It's the best brand out there. The silver Reuzel can has a scent that is perfectly acceptable. This isn't a bad product. But it's redundant. Everything this version does, another can does better. Dark blue and white both are better this one. It's not a concrete hold at all really. It's a medium hold at best, IMO. You can buy this and it will be great, but Reuzel pink is grease based and does the job better than this silver can.

Did Reuzel change the formula for this product? I recently ordered a new tin and the color and consistency is completely different, and doesn’t work as well. Previously, it was a waxy, yellow pomade, the one I just received has a white, creamy texture, more like a paste. Wondering if it’s changed or if this one is a mistake (the tin says “concrete hold matte pomade” just as before.

I have fine hair and this product tends to weigh it down after a shower. It does offer good hold but I don't like the way it makes my hair look. It also has some clumping issues, leaving a residue on my hand after use.

This product works well. The hold lasts all day. Smells real good. Washes out pretty easy. I would buy again
