The windows are open, but not large enough to fit a Lego figure. The one exception is the fork lift- you could fit a mini-fig in that one.

They are die cast with some plastic parts. The plastic parts shall on and off, they don't break off, which is nice.

Excavator approx 4.9 x 4.1 x 2.1”, Bulldozer approx 5 x 2.2 x 2.2”, Forklift approx 5.1x4.4x1.6”,Truck trailer approx 11.8 x 2.1 x 1.8”, Cement mixter trailer approx 11 x 2.9 x 2.4”. The are not small ,should be bigger and decent size construction truck toys for kids .

Q: Can the cement mixer be filled? I need one that my son can fill and then come out of the chute.

No for the truck mixer. The mixer on the trailer is hollow, and I suppose you could put sand in there. You cannot tip it, so it would be hard to get anything out. Bottom line, I’d look for another item if you want to be able to fill it and have it come out the chute.

My son loves these. Pieces do pop off pretty frequently, but they’re easy enough for an adult to put back together. My 3 year old can’t put the tiny pieces back together himself though

Huge hit!

These trucks are awesome! I met my 3 year old great nephew for the first time when we all flew to Germany for a wedding. I gave him a few at a time to keep him occupied at the different events. HUGE hit. They are durable, move beautifully and all parts (ie the scoop) function as they should. So very happy with this purchase. And, small enough to put one or two in my purse! Simply perfect. You will not be disappointed.

Affordable Fun

Now, I only dropped a star because my son is SO ROUGH on toys. This set is definitely build with quality and did endure repeatedly being thrown, dropped, and banged on the table while my son engaged in imagination play. They are the perfect size to be used in his kinetic sand pit where he will play for extended periods of times with these awesome construction vehicles. They are easy to play with and have such a fun design for each vehicle.

Excavator arm easily breaks off, excellent service

Three Stars: The arm does come off and in easily for the excavator. The issue is how easily one of the two side pieces that the arm snaps into, broke, so the arm doesn't stay on anymore at all.Updated to 5 stars: emailed them and informed them of the excavator arm. Sent them an image and they not just shipped out a replacement excavator but the whole set! Really fast communication and best service.

Pretty good but not what I thought

I thought these would be full metal but they're mostly plastic. There are some removable pieces that are too small for young kids as they are a choking hazard. My kid loves them. They hurt to step on.
