Fixed my P055 code on 2017 silverado
This vapor canister vent valve took less than 30 minutes to install (with the help of youtube) and fixed my P055 code. Not bad for $35. I also took the opportunity to change my air filter and clean the throttle body since those two things take an extra 5 minutes when you have the air intake loose. My engine idles much smoother now, I had not realized how rough the idle had become.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Good quality brand and cost. Replacement value:Good value. I did have to put a dab of oil on the o ring to get it in place.

Fixed the issue on the Tahoe and cleared code. So far been about 3 months good.

OEM Part
18 Yukon 5.3 fixed my issue . OEM part it's a 10 min fix . Make sure you lube the oring .Tip remove vac line, then 10mm bolt pull part out THEN remove electrical connector don't forget it has the red lock tab. Then reverser order hook electrical connector back up, install part tighten bolt, then hook the vac line back up .
