Does this work for shrews?

Don’t know but it certainly worked to get rid of The rats. Look on internet and see what shrews do not like. Rats hate the smell of peppermint. Good luck

does this harm birds in the garden

I put it down earlier in the spring and it didn’t seem to hurt the birds or any other wildlife it just deter the rats coming around as I feed the birds and the rats seem to think they would share there food but since been down not seen a rat since. And the birds are plentiful

Can this be used on car engines I have rat droppings in my engine

I recommend that you use it the wiring under the bonnet before the rats start eating it. We put this on all vehicle wiring after repairing rat damage.

Useless

This product was useless. The rats either ate it or ignored the pellets. I would advise anyone not to buy this.

Great smell

Great smell but doesn’t last - I think I have to keep applying to garden after rain but as rats don’t go out in the rain I think I’ll be ok over winter. Very expensive if I have to keep reapplying frequently.

Seems to work how I used it

We had rats digging a little hidey hole near our bird table. Kept filling it in, but they kept digging it out again. Bought this, literally filled the hole with it and they've not been back for three days. I also scattered some at the places they were entering the garden.I can't promise the fox didn't just eat the rat, but either way I'm happy!

Simply does not work.

I don’t normally leave reviews but feel compelled to do so as you don’t waste your money.I put the whole container of granules where the rat is an unwelcome guest eating the bird scraps of seed.The rat returned completely oblivious to the ‘deterrent’ in fact if it had 2 fingers he would have stuck them up at me.Joking aside. A complete waste of money.
