Great buy!
This was well worth the money to buy. My original shoe rack took up most of my closet, and one hip check took it down. Had to buy something new and this was what worked out absolutely amazing for me. As you can see I didn't put bigger shoes onto it; which is a bummer; but not a huge issue for me. It holds my heels, sneakers, and flats and keeps them all organized. Since being on the door it is really sturdy, I don't feel that it will break easily like my previous one. The height works well too even though it is taller than me, just means I am able to store alot of shoes. Overall it was a great buy for me and gives me more space in my closet.

Closet not big enough ,Buy this it’s awesome !
My son-in-law had to put it together, but he seemed to do it pretty easily and it is amazing. It takes all those shoes from the floor and all over the place and just keeps them lined up on your door and out of the wayfor someone with a closet that they could use more space buy one of these!! It is good quality great for organization and I love it

Sturdy but does not hold 36 pairs
This shoe rack is great, but does not hold 36 pairs unless you have very small feet. Smaller shoes like sandals might fit 3 pairs across, but anything else would fit about 2.5 pairs on a row. I’ll also mention that any taller pairs of shoes, like high tops or boots, don’t fit vertically and have to be inserted sideways, which isn’t a big deal in my opinion. It was easy to put together, especially using a drill to make tightening the bolts much faster. I have mine hung on the back of a door and it seems pretty steady while opening/closing (does not wobble). It does stick out about 7.5 inches or so, so make sure you have enough room to close the door fully. I had to shift some things around in my closet to make space for the door to shut completely.

Love it
It's easy to mess up the assembly - but I am not good about reading the instructions so it totally could have been me. But once assembled - I love it. SOOO much better than the plastic one that this was bought to replace. Great value.

Read this before assembling
I bought this shoe organizer for my wife and I am very happy with it (she is too). I tried one of those organizers that is like a big sheet with a bunch of pockets on it... useless. The pockets were too small to hold 90% of the shoes she has (just one shoe per pocket), and shoes that have any kind of weight to the heel pull on the pocket and hang way out away from the door. That thing got returned. But this one I like. The "shelves" are deep enough to hold just about any kind of shoe, and the construction is sturdy enough that I feel pretty confident that it will last. The metal tube frame is very lightweight but the design is good and it seems like it will do the job long term. The hooks that go over the door are padded on the inside and the frame has plastic endcaps on the parts that touch the door, so I don't expect it to do any damage to the door. Now, as far as the assembly goes - yes, it comes with a full-size, multi-page instruction manual that is well written and has large, easy to comprehend diagrams, but the sequence of steps should be changed up to make the process much easier. The manual instructs you to assemble one vertical support and attach ALL of the horizontal rods in the first step. After having done this, you are supposed to slide the single piece mesh shelving over all of the horizontal bars. Imagine this and you'll understand. The mesh is extremely lightweight and porous, and the sleeves that fit over the horizontal rods are fairly snug. This means that you will have to slide a couple inches onto one rod, then a couple inches onto the next rod and so on. The whole time you are doing this, the mesh that you put over the first few rods is actively trying to work itself off. This is pretty frustrating and it takes a relatively long time to get all of the mesh over all of the rods. Here's my recommendation:1. Assemble the two vertical supports and hang them over the door at the proper distance apart.2. Connect the top horizontal rod to one side and slide the top sleeve of the mesh material completely onto the tube.3. Loosely connect the first rod to the other vertical support so that the mesh is trapped and can't go anywhere.4. Then slide the remaining horizontal rods into the remaining mesh sleeves and loosely connect both ends to the vertical supports.5. Repeat this until all of the rods are in place and then tighten everything up, making sure not to pinch the mesh at either end.6. Stand back and marvel at how easy that was. This is how I wish I had assembled it. Efficient. Stable. Zero frustration. Try it out and let me know.

Good Buy!
Quality product that I could assemble alone. What I would recommend being aware of: make sure the original "top" tag is facing you and a 2 sided stiky square the depth of the top of the closet door or smaller was necessary to stop movement when closing the door. Also, I am in an apartment w/2 closet doors, so both have to be closed at the same time if that's your goal.

Nice looking but…
Positives: Nice color, modern design and I would say there’s plenty of room for your shoes if you have a medium to smaller collection. pretty sturdy and seems to be relatively well designed….howeverNegatives: This was a pain to put together mostly because I’m impatient.I don’t love the clunkiness and I'm constantly having to adjust the position for it to stay on my door. I would recommend an oversized door if you must have this shoe organizer. The brackets at the top that go over the door constantly slide which is a pain to adjust every time. I’m unable to fully get in my closet because it’s sticks out so far.Currently I’m putting in marketplace because it’s just in the way but if you have ample space for the door to completely open, I would say you might enjoy it.
