Are these the same as scotch brite stay clean sponges? (if anyone has tried both, thanks in advance for your help!) =)

They are very similar. I think the dots on these are raised a little bit more on the surface. Also, these do tend to catch some food between the dots, unlike the Stay Clean. Honest opinion: I like the Stay Clean more than these. Hope this helps!

How are these on stainless steel?

They are good. They did not scratch my stainless steel. Also, I did not get rough with them and they cleaned them really good
