A very pretty scenic picture with a lot of detail

This painting brand is very challenging with some of the paint locations being the tiniest of a dot. This one in particular has many squared angles and tight angles against straight lines to be painted.I have included three images the one with the least actually shows the pines on the left completed per the numbers and the ones on the right mostly completed with some sky and trunks left. This brand leaves a lot of areas with a neutral color which may or may not be acceptable to most people. I personally like to add to any paint by number to make it my own.The paint quality is pretty good and will dry darker than it is wet. Light colors will require several applications to cover lines and numbers or letters. Yes, letters. The set comes with almost 20 colors and then on top of these you need to mix (1:1) another 20 or so.For me I did not like the neutral finished look in the trees, water, boat area, or under the dock and mixed alternate colors to complement the picture. Along with small touches like smoke in the chimney, changing the water weeds to more of a wetland grass, adding additional reflections for missing bright bushes, and a few others. Like who ever saw a fishing pole without a line and a bobber. I also renamed the boat.These are the things that can make it your own and even changing the look of some of the background. Painting has become an outlet for me since my strokes and although it may take me longer than most to complete, it does proved a sense of accomplishment.These kits to require patience and determination. When you find your lines aren’t what you would like them to be, take a break and come back to it. The results you will have will be fulfilling.I recommend this kit if you like it or any of this brand, as I have done a few from this company at this point.The only negative I would say about this particular paining kit is that it does seem a little busy as you are painting it and numbers you had previously done always seem to appear undone and missed in places you know you looked before. The painting kit comes with two detailed sheets showing where colors go because there are many locations that are just too small for them to place a number or letter inside.

I had so much fun doing this painting. I learned so much about painting technics. The colors are great. Easy to mix.

I have been buying this brand of paint by number for the last two-and-a-half 3 years and I have really like them but the last two purchases the pigment was not good enough in the paint . To me it ruins the enjoyability of the painting and way too expensive
