what makes this diff fr any other spray bottles? What is so impt about the “dot” on the spray bottle?

I am not sure what you mean about the "dot." The only dot I see in the photo is actually the nozzle that the water comes out of when you press down. When I am misting a watercolor, I need a fine spray... a mist. Anything more would ruin the painting. While there might be a thousand other spray bottles out there that would accomplish the same thing, this is the one I choose. It works for me... Happy painting :-)

What is the formula for watercolor paint and water in a spray bottle?

I usually add 1/2-inch of pigment to the bottle, fill halfway with water, shake vigorously to dissolve the paint, then add more water to fill about 90% of the bottle volume. This had worked well for me.

As good as an ordinary spray bottle

Don’t waste your money on this expensive product. It sprays water the same as an ordinary spray bottle available for Rs100. I thought the spray quality will be much better and more suitable for watercolour painting , but that wasn’t the case.
