As well as being a great, latest addition textbook the online features really help to retain and drill in the information in small, digestible QBanks that are relevant to the topic being covered and not overly integrated.

Although I'm a student and haven't reviewed many biochem textbooks, this one is great for being easy to read (yet still comprehensive).I am unhappy that the binding did not hold up. My class is only 8 weeks long and by week 4, I had to have it rebound! Most of the pages for the first 3 chapters fell out. (I am out of the return period, so I didn't try contacting the seller to get a new copy, besides, I would have lost my notes/highlights if they expected me to return my book for a new copy.)

I bought this book for my biochem class and it worked for a week but now when I try to open it it is just blank with a spinner that never loads. I've updated my computer and kindle but nothing is helping. Very annoying because I need it for class and cannot get a refund.

This isn't a review of the book. This is a review for the kindle version. I just got my Ipad Air, one of the intentions being to have e textbooks so I don't have to lug the huge things around. And theyre cheaper. But the Ipad Kindle app sucks. Anytime you rotate your screen the whole thing freezes and you have to close and restart. Then with this book specifically, half the time you try to open it, it freezes on the cover and you have to close the app to do anything else. The other day I couldn't even open the book after numerous attempts. It opened today but its just not reliable. I wish I could just buy a PDF version so I can make notes on it, I just dont find the kindle app to be very efficient and user friendly. Guess I'm stuck with it but come on amazon, get it together.

I am an adult learner and learning natural sciences has been challenging enough. This book is referenced in my intro duties biochemistry course and it’s phenomenal.Easy to follow diagrams and concise content! I have no clue what goes on in a Upper Level Biochem, but I’m sure this would help your studies.

The media could not be loaded.  El material es excelente, las correlaciones clínicas soy estupendas, explica muy bien las vías metabólicas con esquemas e ilustraciones de alto nivel, muy bueno para el estudiante de medicina por qué deja claro muchos conceptos que en otros libros no encontrarás. Lo recomiendo ampliamente. Es un libro que me hubiera gustado encontrarme antes cuando estaba en la facultad.

The seller had imported the book directly so it came late. The book is a simplified version of biochemistry with clinical know how. Lot of illustrations are there. The paper quality is very good and the condition of the book was excellent. The seller even called me to ask if the book was delivered in good condition.
