These books are amazing! I read them aloud for discussion topics with my 9 year old. As well as it's a wonderful resource for the timeline of history. The American History & Science are just as awesome.Age group is geared towards middle school (11+.) It gives basic topic information (1-2 pages per event.) It can be a great jumping off point for reasearch projects.

Among all other ancient civilizations, how is it that ancient Persia didn't deserve to be in the list in this book. Ancient Persia and ancient Rome were always competing and budding heads. How can it be omitted.The information on timeline is inaccurate about divide of Muslims in two groups. The books says the divide happened after the 3rd caliph when in reality the disagreement mentioned took place at the time of Prophet's death. Picture included.No information on the civilization of Native Americans, only mentions colonization of Americas. Negative depiction of Spanish invaders in South America. Positive depiction of British invaders in North America.The book is laid out well but lacks a lot of information. The information is biased and cherry picked. Secular and supports evolution.

Pages are a bit thin/sheer but otherwise it’s great
