* Revision of Hinoki incense
100% Japanese attention to quality in every respect. Of course, scent is completely subjective; I love it but YMMV. These are manufactured as "lower smoke" and that is 100% accurate. Slow burning, long lasting, less expensive (450 sticks for $14), 100% consistent in quality. The Cyprus/Cedar scent is perfect ... not overpowering, not "is it lit ?? If you like the woodsy aroma incense, this may become your new favorite.UPDATE:After several orders of wonderful incense, my last order arriving two days ago is for the first time a disappointment. The product construction and packaging are great but there is barely a hint of the previous wonderful aroma, either lit or burning. When lit it no longer has the scent of cyprus/cedar, rather like a smoldering bit of plywood scraps. Just a MAJOR disappointment !!

great quality and amount for the $
great scent, gotta have these in my bathroom, and nice throughout the house too. i dont think there is a single broken stick from shipping, the box has thick walls to protect the incense. i like these much better than most wood dipped incense. a bit more subtle and doesnt have the harsh finish when the wood stick smoulders, but its also very good at minimizing less pleasant scents from cooking or pets.

Natural, Mild and Woodsy
This incense is truly low smoke as it says, which makes it perfect for indoor use. Upon opening the box, I was delighted to smell an earthy, pine like scent and see that it was actually made in Japan. When lit, it smells like a lemony, creamy, natural Mysore sandalwood campfire. It is soothing and gentle, it evokes memories of the fireplace in my childhood home. I can't believe how good it smells with virtually invisible smoke. You get a lot in the box, it will last me a long time. It really does remind me of camping in the woods. I usually burn stronger Indian incense outside, but this is very mild and I prefer to use it indoors so I can enjoy as much of the smell as possible because again, it makes very little smoke. I imagine it is much safer and cleaner, easier on the lungs than Indian incense.

Hinoki - like sitting in a Japanese sauna...
...or at least what I'd imagine a Japanese sauna would smell like. Not a lot of smoke from these, but that's okay, they smell terrific. I will definitely be trying other varieties from this brand. Similar to Olivier Durbano 'Black Tourmaline', for any frag-heads who may see this. Both are lovely.

Almost but it claims to be
Wow, the fragrance is appealing. It’s not exactly what it claims to be.

Woodsy, "spicy", sharp, peppery in a clean way
I really like the smell of this. It's like a very fresh, sharp to the nose woodsy scent that is reminiscent of a cleaning product. Definitely I think "black peppery fresh chopped wood". It's definitely a "dry wood" smell with no moss notes. I do love it a lot. Striking but not offensive. Tons of value for money. I will likely be repurchasing these.

Really is low smoke but still strong enough
I had these burning when my friend who said he doesn’t really care for incense came over, he said he actually really liked these. So there ya go, it’s got universal appeal. Also I freakin love these incense. One heads-up though, these do not have a wooden stick to poke into your typical incense holder. These have to have a slightly larger hole to burn them in. I have a ceramic bowl of sand that I stick these in and it works well for me. Great product.
