Solid Build Great Quality
If you are looking for top quality smart lighting solutions look no further. The built is solid and these brand of lights last years. I first purchased one of these back when they first were sold at Best Buy in the early 2010s that first bulb lasted around 6-7 years and it only died because the software was no longer supported. I have purchased other products like the Beam, the smaller 800lm a19 this model and the br32s and they are all solid and work perfectly. After more than 10 years I keep coming back for more and even purchased a couple bulbs as gifts. The only thing is that they don't offer as many products as hue of goove, like if you are setting up an immersive home theater system. But if you are just looking for something good, simple & lasting look no further than. Wait for a deal if you can because these are definitely not cheap.

ANDROID USERS MUST DO THIS TO GET THE BULBS TO PAIR!
As the Title Suggests. The process for setting up these bulbs is unnecessarily complex for android users, but once you do it, the actual use of the bulbs is simple. In order to get the devices to show connect to you wifi network, you MUST enable airplane mode on your android device and then enable your wifi afterward on the device WHILE KEEPING AIRPLANE MODE ENABLED.For whatever reason, the app will time out and fail to pair the device if you do not do this. this is in the instructions on the website when you got to troubleshoot the issue, but for whatever reason that have not updated the literature inside of the box itself.Even after you do this, the bulb may fail to connect to the network the first time you go to pair it. if that happens, simple turn it off and on 5 times and allow it to cycle through the light sequence before attempting to pair it again. As for the product itself, It is extremely bright and has a great quality to the light. I am replacing a house full of lohas smart bulbs, and the the difference in the quality and color of light in person is night and day. Its cleaner, its more even, and it fills a space better. The picture in the listing is the Lifx bulb on the right and the Lohas bulb on the left. Keep in mind you can often get 8 lohas bulbs from the price of a SINGLE lifx so they punch well above their weight class, but there is a difference and a noticeable one is a side by side comparison. The array of visible colors is much better and the accuracy of often hard to hit colors like yellows, vibrant greens, and pink are present and vibrant. The ONLY issue i have with these bulbs is the pairing process. There is no reason i can fathom that it needs to be this complex, but it is and for the result i am willing to pay the price of having to turn on airplane mode for the initial setup.no issued controlling these with my google enabled home devices.Would reccomend.

Would Buy Again
I think this is a really great color changing lightbulb. You definitely get the value for your money and you can tell by the quality of the bulb. I've used this for Hours at a time and the light quality and brightness is great! The heat level doesn't get too hot either with it great. Overall a lot of fun and a great bulb. 5/5 Stars

Bulb itself is great, app needs work.
Recently having moved overseas to where the country's voltage is 220V, I find myself in a constant struggle to find decent smart LED bulbs that are dual-voltage. All the ones that come directly from China basically lie about their lumen rating when it comes to the RGB LEDs - they are so disappointingly dim. I was pleasantly surprised by the LIFX color bulbs and own 4 of them - the warm/cool LEDs definitely look like they hit 1100 lumen. I'm a little more skeptical with the RGB's, but they are definitely brighter than anything else I've found so far. In my soul though I do wish there were even brighter ones. There was a brand on Amazon called "3STONE" or something like that that had 1600 lumen bulbs and those were amazing.. but are only single voltage T_TMy biggest gripe continues to be the app. When I bought my first pair several months ago, the LIFX app wouldn't link correctly with Amazon Alexa, which was super-frustrating. I worked around it by just linking LIFX with Google Assistant on my phone - but it seems that they've recently fixed it. Now my new current complaint is that it seems these bulbs don't remember their color settings when you turn them off. For example, if I have one bulb set to "Random" and the other set to the "Color Cycle" FX modes, they'll work great until I turn them off for the night. I have to basically reset these modes every time I turn them on.For $25 a bulb and considering that it's a smart bulb, I wish the app was better and not so buggy. Otherwise, solid bulbs and *almost* worth the price. Thinking about trying out an Aputure Accent bulb but the $56 price tag is making me sweat a little.

another great LIFX product
easy installation, easy setup, tons of features and schedule options. I've used mine as exterior lights and have them dimmed down to about 20%. roughly 30 minutes before sunset and 30 minutes after sunrise they are scheduled to slowly fade in/out so I never have to worry about the lights being on for guests at night or turning them off during the day. they've held up well for years and are a great price considering the quality of the product and the features
