When Your Dishwasher is Leaking from the Bottom, You Probably Need This
I used this product (https://amzn.to/3tnX8ob) to fix the leak under my dishwasher.Gasket Replacement Fit For Whirlpool, KitchenAid, Maytag.(Replacement PartFor WPW10195677/W10195677)) to replace cam motor shaft seal on Kenmore EliteDishwasher (665.12773K310)The seal fit perfectly, however, here's a little context that may be a benefit to you.I purchased a Kenmore Elite Dishwasher (665.12773K310) several years ago and it has been doing a so-so job but that's another story.About 3 years after my purchase, the dishwasher started to leak and I called in a dishwasher repair company to look at my unit. The repair company changed out the bottom assembly of the dishwasher and told me a seal had gone bad. The repair was quite costly.Apparently, the dishwasher had been leaking for quite some time and what clued me in to the leak was the hardwood flooring adjacent to the dishwasher started to warp. The machine started to leak again about 3 years later and I quickly knew it because I had installed a plastic dishwasher pan and water leak detector alarm under the dishwasher after the first leak was repaired. A pan like this (https://amzn.to/46FrRuZ) and an alarm like this (https://amzn.to/3rOlLtu) should work fine in providing you with some early warning of a dishwasher leak and I think anyone who owns a dishwasher should install something like these items for peace of mind. With this second leak occurrence, I did my own troubleshooting and determined the cause was the cam motor shaft seal at the bottom of the dishwasher. I purchased a similar part on Amazon and it had worked well to to stop the leak.Guess what, it's been three years and I have another leak ... this was the third occurrence and so I purchased this seal, installed it and again my leak has stopped. Since this item comes in a two pack, if I still have the dishwasher in three years and it leaks again, I'll have a spare seal that's ready to go.The change out of the seal is quite simple, but you will likely have to remove the diverter valve motor and gently push the seal out from the bottom of the dishwasher using a blunt tool like this (https://amzn.to/3FaoHnu).You'll need to put the seal back in making sure the seal orientation (top and bottom) is the same as the seal you are taking out. I found that you have to reinstall the diverter motor first and then install the seal by sliding the seal over the diverter motor shaft. The seal fails after a certain amount of use because the shaft wears away the portion of the seal that the shaft is in contact with. In my case, with our normal daily use, the seal fails every 3 years or so.For installation assistance you can search the internet for:"How To: LG/Kenmore Cam Motor Shaft Seal 3920ED4009B" or"Replacing the Diverter Motor on a Dishwasher"and you'll find a couple of video tutorials that will show you how to change the seal.

"Upgraded"?
This grommet is supposedly upgraded. It does not have the spring in the channel so the picture is misleading.Otherwise it looks the same as a regular diverter motor grommet just missing the spring. I replaced the old leaky grommet with this one and this is leaking. Doesn't leak as much as the old one but clearly leaking. Not so sure what they upgraded about this but now I have to order the regular style with the spring and wait before I can use my dishwasher.

Cheap And Easy Fix
I used this on my dishwasher that is a Kitchen Aid KDTM404ESS3 which was leaking from the diverter motor under the dishwasher. i cant find any info saying this will work in this dishwasher but i took a chance and ordered it. This repair can be done from inside the dishwasher without removing it from the cabinet. I wrapped the outside with teflon tape like some other reviews said to do and lubricated the motor shaft and seal with super lube grease. So Far the Leak is Gone. Technicians in Appliance Forums Recommend Changing out the Entire Lower Assembly which is about 300 bucks. Buy A Couple of These And just change them when needed. As long as the motor shaft is not worn or Scarred this Should Fix the issue.

Works on Kitchenaid KDTE334GPS0
The grommet does not have the spring collar as shown in the picture. The outside diameter of the grommet seems a tad small compared to the OEM part as it slid in effortlessly. As suggested by another reviewer, I wrapped two layers of Teflon tape around the grommet. I also lubed the diverter shaft and grommet before installing. So far, the grommet is watertight.

Saved me a $1,000
This tiny $10 grommet saved me $1000 since I did not need a new dishwasher. It works perfectly in KitchenAid dishwashers. Remember to transfer your original spring since it does not come with one, and use Silicone Sealant Lubricant on it.

Part fit my Kitchen Aid dishwasher and stopped the leaking
The product package has two grommets- only one is needed. However, if I had damaged the first when installing it, I would have been happy to have the second. The two parts cost approximately $10 which seems a bit over priced. Installation was relatively easy after watching two YouTube videos. The grommet is located in a hole in a plastic molded part inside the dishwasher. It can be, and was, impossible to remove it without a small right angle pick. Since the grommet is only used in this application, a better product would be a package containing two grommets and a pick. In my case, I had to buy a pick set for another $20 which may never be used again.
