Q: what is this product is all about?

I bought this as a gift for a friend that flies planes. I believe that this type of hat was worn by tweedle dee and tweedle dum in Alice in Wonderland. Don't know if it really has a purpose other than fun

It has been a while since I ordered it for a gift. I believe it did have a plastic adjustment tab in the back.

Q: does this hat have a brim or not?

Yes it has a brim like a regular baseball cap.

Q: is it a snap back hat?

By snap back, do you mean can you adjust it at the back of the hat? The answer is yes, you can. The adult male I bought it for has a small head, and he was able to adjust it to fit him nicely. It's a fun hat! He gets lots of compliments and it's a conversation starter on the beach.
