Purchased this in hope of preventing a disastrous accident. My new Verona stove has a terrible flaw. The stovetop grates have huge gaps in the 4 corners. Very dangerous as your are cooking, the smaller pots and pans slip into the gaps spilling hot oil or liquids onto the stove or on me, thankfully the burn was not too bad. I looked around the internet and noticed most of the new stoves are being designed with the same flaw, regardless of brand or price tag. At about the same time, my sister purchased her new stove and complained about the same problem. I purchased a second one and sent it to her. It works really well to stabilize the pans. It will not clip to my grates but it sits on the top and when you are cooking, no need to touch it, so it stays put. My only complaint is that I wish the manufacturer would make a larger one, I would buy 2 immediately. I highly recommend. Thank you.

This lets smaller pans sit level and flat on the stove without disrupting or changing the way the gas flames hit the pan. That's exactly what I needed. I actually tried a different product first, but ended up getting this one when the first didn't work well. The open design let's heat hit the bottom of the pan the way it should, but keeps smaller pans and pots level and stable. It has notches on the bottom that line up well with my stove's cooking grate, but you can rotate it so they it just lays on top of other grates while still being level and stable. I use an 8-inch sauce pan and omelet pan on this, and it is perfect. I can also use smaller pots.

I was hesitant when I bought it. The grooves really don’t fit my gas stove yet it provides a sturdy base for my small pans that would always topple over so easily. Glad I bought this

I recently bought a new set of Teflon pans and was surprised how slippery the bottom of the pots and pans were on my gas stove. They were a safety hazard! Rather than finding new Stove burner racks or returning the pots and pans, this relatively cheap solution works great! They were a bit confusing to align with the old burner racks but eventually I found the right angles to match up with my 20+ year old stove. They lock in and do the job quite well, although a bit off center, they do the job well.

I know these are sturdy and the price was fine. But I have to use it with the old one to keep a simmer with light or heavy pots. I need one like it made to keep the pot higher on the flame and haven't found one yet. My stove flame can't be adjusted any lower than it is. So I keep on looking.

Works well when you manage to keep it in place, but it tends to slip easily. That makes the pan tilt.
