Kept my 4 yr old busy on a plane ride!
This is a great kit! We actually ordered more tape when she finished this book because she had a ton of fun just creating with the left over tape! This book kept her busy for a solid hour twice on 2 separate flights. It was easy enough for her to do on her own but still challenging enough to keep her happy. It also held up in my very full, very tossed around backpack!

Keeps them busy!
What a brilliant book and idea - instead of my boys using up all MY good tape, they have their own to create fun pictures with! They love it!

Motricidad
Muy buen material para laotricidad fina de los niños, muy llamativo el libro, colores muy videos y el material de muy buena calidad, incluso se puede usar con un plumón para trazar las lineas y poder borrar

Engaging while also a bit of a challenge
Our grandchildren, ages 3 and 4, love both of these activity books. They enjoy cutting out the pieces in the scissors skills book, which comes with scissors that are sharp enough to cut the paper while being safe for a child to handle. The cutouts often double as activities; for instance, one page has rectangles , each featuring a fruit, and there are two rectangles on the page for each fruit, so these become a matching game. Our 3 and 1/2-year-old grandson cut those out with ease and his little sister, just turned 2, loves playing the matching game. She calls them her "matching cards" and jealously guards the "cards" while also seeming to never tire of matching the pairs. He is quite adept with the scissors, though our 4-and-1/2 year old granddaughter has problems cutting the circles and other curved edges. There are other pages that have simpler designs. Because of these variances in ability and in the pages themselves, I'd recommend the book for children 4 to 6 year old.The tape book also has been a hit with all of our preschool grandchildren, yet they are not able to unroll and cut the tape without our help. I don't know why this set doesn't come with a tape dispenser; it would dramatically improve enjoyment of the activity for both kids and adults! The kids become frustrated with the tape and the adults soon tire of measuring and tearing off the tape for the kids. A measuring tool and tape dispenser would increase the value and fun of this set fourfold, while also making it more educational (through measuring of the lines and the corresponding pieces of tape). On the plus side, the kids love the colorful illustrations in the book, the process of deciding on tape color and the actual placing of the tape. Our two-year-old granddaughter has even become remarkably adept at placing the tape just because she insists on keeping up with the 3- and 4-year-olds, who are fairly facile. I would not recommend buying the book for a 2-year-old but be prepared for their demands to take a turn if you buy it for an older child! The 2-year-old granddaughter typically pulls the book and tape rolls out of our activity drawer soon after she arrives at our home and demands our help with the "tape book"!

High quality skill-building tool for preschoolers
Great activities for kids around the age of 4! Any younger and they might not have as much fun with it. Would be great if the tape was perforated at set lengths, as a young kid will likely still need an adult to tear each piece of tape. That said, this activity book is definitely helpful for learning that skill (the tape is pretty easy to rip).Love that the tape activity book is reusable, but the scissor one isn't; pretty obvious, once a page is cut up, it's cut up. But the safety scissors are of decent quality/size for young kids and will doubtlessly be used for a great many other activities! The binding is solid, pictures and colours are great. It's honestly a pretty excellent buy at such a low price... fantastic for building motor, spatial reasoning and creative skills that help prepare for kindergarten!
