I am really happy with the hat, it is really well made and very useful. definitely recommended.

This hat has a Fur top and ear flaps with fur on the inside of the flaps. In the actuall hat part it is a very soft and strong material 4/5. On the tank side oops I mean durability this is a monster that will not stop at anything to keep you warm and comfy. The strap that holds the hats ear parts on your chin and over the top of the hat is actually a lace that ties it also dose not fray almost at all. Overall 5/5. This Ushanka is also stylish as long as you were something that is not like a t-shirt with it but even if you do it isn't that bad it will just look big on your head more than if you wo something that went with it. You can also spray water around the edges and streach it lightly to make it fit larger heads. The star is also removable as a plus you may also put it back on if that is your thing. Overall 4/5 on style. in ranking this I put serious consideration into the entire structure in this hat and would say that it deserves a 4/5. The reason for this rating is because it is not any faux product but for the amazing price for what it is it cannot really be beat. This is truly a product that looks like the picture lastly I would highly recommend this Ushanka.

It fit like a dream. The pin came attached (other ushankas I ordered didn't have their pin attached and it was a nightmare trying to make hole to put it on). The inner lining is well stitched and is able to insulate heat (it feels like a very smooth sort of stiff pillow). The outer lining is made of a semi-soft fur like material. It isn't the softest thing I have every felt, but it isn't important to me that it isn't soft (I am not feeling it when I wear it -other than when I use it to cover my ears). It is a great, durable hat. The only complaint I have is the ties at the ear muffs part of the hat are very flimsy (they also frayed and I had to use fabric glue).I also got a lot of interesting comments while wearing it (some good, some bad). You could always take off the pin (or, as I have, replace it with a different pin if you want to spice things up) if you don't like the attention.

Fit of the product was very good. Not too big, not to small.Genuine Russian Fish Fur on the outside and both side of earflaps and neck drape. Russian Fish Fur is water resistant and therefore you should have no fears about wearing this one in the rain. It is not sable, fox, chinchilla, or mink up there.The inside is a tightly knit quilted material, tight stitching, no loose threads or bad seams.The front "eye" flap is sewn up, and not buttoned. You won't be napping in this one.It is going to look big on your head. It is a bulky hat, not like a hunters cap. To get the look right with this one, you need a big coat or big shoulders or both. That is if look is important. If you want a warm head, it will probably be about as warm as you can get short of full face and head coverage.The emblem is a toy. Toss it to the side or display it behind glass, where it looks a lot more expensive than it is. I wouldn't waste time putting it on the hat. It takes a bit of attitude to pull off a Ushanka. Don't mess it up by pretending to be a Communist.
