Apple Homekit-easy, priced to please, colors (meh).
The media could not be loaded. I got these via free promotion from meross after using a couple other meross products (outdoor outlet, garage door opener). I've had them for several days. The price is good enough that I will buy more if they last. They were dead easy to set up in Homekit, which I did out of the box before installing the meross app. In the Home app (click +, Add Accessory), scan a bulb's code (see images) and screw it into a live socket. It takes a minute but mine both paired without incident.I moved both bulbs to a two socket lamp behind my iMac to use them as ambient monitor lighting (see video). The non-primary colors were the worst offenders for accuracy, but I was mainly concerned with the 6500K color temp (ideal ambience to minimize eyestrain). The Homekit app doesn't indicate the temp by number, unfortunately, but the meross app does.A reviewer said the bulbs don't stay connected to both apps simultaneously. For me, both apps kept the bulbs connected just fine. I set the color temperature in the meross app, switched to the Home app where it registered the change which I then saved into my "At Work" Automation. As reviewers have noticed white settings can be much brighter than multi-color settings. Both modes were adequate for my ambience purposes, but readers will appreciate the brighter white levels. Overall a very good product for the price, but color accuracy could be improved.

Overall great, just be aware of connection issues. Other reviews noted this as well, but I didn’t realize how much it occurred after set up. The longer I’ve had them the longer they stay connected. Customer service was prompt and helpful when I had a stubborn bulb that wouldn’t reconnect.

Easy to add to HomeKit. Works well with Apple Home app. Best of the bunch for HomeKit based on my experience.

Avoid if you have smart switches like Lutron Casetta
I bought (8) of these bulbs for use with column light fixtures in my front yard, so that I could easily change the bulb color for different holidays like Halloween and Christmas without having to swap out the bulbs each time. The bulbs are bright, the app is easy to use, and the adjustable color spectrum is great. Everything was fine at first and the deep orange color produced for Halloween was beautiful. I was really looking forward to a mixed red/green color scheme for Christmas.Unfortunately when Halloween passed and I set the bulbs back to white, the bulbs would no longer light up. I reset the bulbs according the instructions provided, but still no luck. Ultimately after some troubleshooting, I found that the bulbs would light up just fine if added at least one standard LED bulb on the same circuit. The bulbs also seem to work fine on conventionally switched circuits, so it appears there is a compatibility issue with the Lutron Casetta smart switch that controls this particular circuit. Not sure why they worked as expected for the first couple of weeks, but apparently that was the limit of their useful life and I had to remove them and reinstall standard LED bulbs.Unfortunately, I did not discover the defect until a few days after the return period had expired, so I’m out the cost of (8) bulbs that don’t perform as advertised.These bulbs are probably fine for conventionally switched circuits, but think twice about buying these if you have smart home automation.

Great bulbs for the money!
Setting up to homekit is probably the only issue. Make sure your phone is connected to 2.4ghz network. Than install the bulb turn it on and try adding accessory in homekit. Have patience! Unless you get the dreaded cannot connect to accessory just keep waiting. The bulb will flash and cycle through colors when it finds it. Im sure homekit is downloading all kinds of stuff hence why it takes so long.Now if you do get the cannot add accessory you need to reset the bulb and try again. Turn it on and off three times (and chant theres no place like home). It should add now to home kit. I than suggest adding it to the meross app. Its the only way to update the firmware if there is one is in the meross app. Again have patience. The bulb will blink during the adding process. I have also found that if it looks like it is stuck on the adding screen forever try exiting the app and reopen. Sonetimes it has added it but not given any confirmation!Color and brightness selecting is easier in the meross app. There is a color wheel or a color temperature that actually shows the value. Remember you can group multiple bulbs inside the homekit app if you want several to be controlled in unison.Wifi reception can be spotty so be aware you may need to add wifi extender or upgrade your wifi setup. You can check the reception inside the meross app.

Poor HomeKit support.
HomeKit support is weak: it doesn’t use the white LED, just the color, so it’s very dim. Everything works fine with the Meeross app, though. But since it advertises HomeKit support I’m marking it down.

Great Multi-Purpose Lighting Solution
I've always been pleased with previous Meross products. This light bulb pack is no exception. It is great. My home uses Alexa to control various items and I have Apple products. For my situation set up was simple. First set up via Apple Home Kit. Then adding it to be recognized by Alexa and my Meross App was simple. So the bulbs can be controlled via any of these three means. For me, I mostly use voice commands with Alexa - it allows me to turn the bulb on and of as well as control the color of the light (e.g. red, green, etc - as well as white). You can also vary the "color" or "temperature" of the white light which is great for me when I am doing art work or water color work. Of course they can also be set to turn on and off at certain times since they can be programmed via Alexa or the Meross app. So these are great.I continue to be impressed with Meross products I have purchased. A reasonable price and they work. I should also add that I have found Meross support to be excellent - had a few challenges with other products and they responded quickly and helped resolve the issues. That said, I have had no difficulty whatsoever with the bulbs in this pack so no need to use support.
