Bad Ass
First off they are very comfortable when worn down. I had issue with them digging into my ears when sitting up on my head. Eventually I figured out if you put enough pressure on them you can bend the very thin rigid piece that wraps around the ear. After modification they are so comfortable I forget that I am wearing them.As far as looks I have had multiple people tell me they love the glasses. One customer said they are "Bad Ass."The gold hue is very pronounced and not always the best choice for the days fashion. I intend to get a black pair too. I have worn glacier glasses as riding glasses for many years and these are by far the best I have had. Have Vallons too but they are very light weight and not good for riding. These keep the wind out of your eyes and stay firmly in place.

My eyes have never been so protected.
I can promise anyone who buys these glacier glasses from Julbo and only Julbo, is that this company goes beyong what most companies do. I have NEVER had any issue with them. They fully guarentee them and have returned glasses after 4 years that had issues do to something crazy that very sledom happens. I wear these things out and have eye doctors tell me they are very protective of the retina. Tye companies response is very fast. I paid good mney to protectmy eyes and you get what you pay for. I do not care what anyone else sells as I know for the last 10 to 15 years, and you can take this to the bank, this company and these glasses were by far the best I have ever had. I used them climbing, sking, hiking and never use them driving at night. They are for extremly high sun areas. I can look at the sun directly and not have to turn my head. I would not suggest doing this butI needed to see how much they protected. I love them and Julbo and would never go anywhere else. If it is not broke, no need to fixit. I highly recommend these glasses and Julbo. No I do not own stock or wotrk for them. If you care about your eyes, use these glasses. The gal who answers the phone is extremly helpful and just plain good at what she knows and does. My eye doctor told the girls at the appointment not togh at the side blinders as it protects the retina as this is the place where most damage takes place.I also do not claim to be an english major at spelling.

Functional and cool
I wear them while riding my motorcycle. I ride a cool looking V-Twin Cruiser, wear a half helmet and these glasses. They look way more solid then all the cheap ones I got before but I read a lot of bad reviews about their durability. So far so good.Visibility through the glass is great.I would personally prefer normal temples though, I don't need these grips because of the way I use it, with a motorcycle half helmet.A bit heavy.

Great potential if it fits well
We bought 3 pairs of these because my husband looks so good in them. He gets compliments wherever we go. The polarization is awesome, and he gets sun protection. The durability is a bit questionable cause the leather frame can detach if not protected well. It’s Ok value for the money.

Julbo Spectrum 3 Sunglasses
I have been using these glasses for a couple of weeks now and they are great at blocking the sun when driving. Very glad I bought them they were with the money.

On the fence for return
Can only go three stars for now since I feel a little misled about the glasses.Product title says black frame-black lenses w/ silver mirror. I took that as a black frame with black lenses with a silver mirror coating. The frames are in fact silver. Haven't decided if I like them enough with silver frames to keep them or return them and look for something different. Have to see if the silver grows on me for a moment. As far as the glasses go. They work as sunglasses and I'm sure the side protection will work as I want for wind while driving with the windows and sunroof open. they seem very sturdy and they fit nicely. But the shiny silver frame though.....The pics and description also state that it comes with a microfiber cleaning/ storage bag. Nope. It comes with a microfiber cloth which is fine, but something to keep track of. The storage bag is actually a stiff felt bag that doesn't leave much room for the cleaning cloth. Small detail, but when being outdoors and active, its something else to keep track of and have to deal with.

You have many options when it comes to these glasses.
I've been wearing these glasses for about 6 years now. I wear them almost every single day. I'm writing this just so everyone can know that the side shields and nose piece are very easy to remove and, there is an alternative option for the arms of you don't like the temple arms. The nose piece doesn't look the best and the side shields take away all your peripheral vision. Taking these components off make them look much nicer. The nose piece comes right off after disconnecting the snap. For the side shields, there are two screws on top of the frame. Undo the screw (not all the way) and the shield pops right off with little to no effort. Tighten the screw back in and there you go.If you want to make your glasses like mine (as in the photos provided), go to Julbo's website. Search for the "Cham" glasses. Under replacement parts and lenses, order a pair of the "Cham Temple Arms". Those glasses use the same hinge as these Vermont Classics. They are the more traditional style and don't wrap around your ears. You can also bend and shape them how you want, to fit your ears/head how you want. The temple arms are currently $25.These glasses come with Spectron 4 lenses, which are dark as hell. On Julbo's website in the spare parts and lenses section, you can order polarized lenses. They are not nearly as dark and are great for fishing. Think they are around $75 right now.Thank you for reading my review.side note- super comfortable even without the nose piece and you will never lose them off your face, they fit very securely.
