Bb1 & BB2 LOVE THIS!!
We bought our guinea pigs around the end of February this year. At first we bought a big plastic of hay at the local pet store where we bought them but it was a little expensive. So I searched Amazon and found this with lots of great reviews and rating was high. We bought one and when our piggies consumed it so quickly, we decided to do the subscription. At first, we decided to do it every 2 weeks then we got too much and did not want them to be not so fresh and so we adjusted and did a monthly subscription. If ever we got short, I will just order one from Amazon and adjust my subscription’s deliver date. Overall, we are happy with this Kaytee Timothy Hay, it is always fresh and our guinea pigs are happy as well! Great value for money!

I should have been buying this all along.
I have always heard that Oxbow is the Cadillac of small pet products. After 2 horrible experiences with Oxbow Western Timothy Hay (brown and seemingly flavorless because neither my rabbit nor my guinea pig would eat it, and that is saying a LOT with regard to my little piggy), I went on the hunt for a quality hay believing that the more I spent the better quality it would be. I tried some more expensive brands from the pet stores as well as ordering directly from individual companies/farms, and paying a pretty penny for each. My rabbit always picks through the hay wasting most of it. He has a very sensitive stomach and TImothy hay is very important to his GI health, as it should be for all rabbits and guinea pigs. I finally settled on a product I found at Pet Smart that he seemed to like and eat pretty well. However, he would still pick through it and waste about 1/3 of the bag. When Pet Smart was out of my chosen brand both in stores and online, I became desperate and ordered a small bag of this from Amazon. OMG! My little bunny is in Heaven! He jumps in it and begins munching and doesn't stop until it is all gone. He stands and begs when he hears the bag rattle. He has never eaten any hay as well as he eats this hay. For that reason, in our case, this hay is a lot of bang for my buck. I feed him TImothy hay, orchard grass hay, meadow grass hay and oat hay, but per his vet, TImothy and oat hay need to be staples in his diet. I can rest much easier now that we have found a TImothy hay that he will eat and eat well.

Hay for my guinea pigs
My piggies like this hay but it's definitely different from the ones I normally buy like oxbow and full cheeks. It's not my personal favorite hay to use but my piggies still love it, it's always great quality hay as well.

Stays fresh a really long time; great for outdoor rabbits in the winter
The media could not be loaded. I put this outside near my bird feeder and squirrel feeder in the winter when snow covers the ground and I get a lot of rabbits in the pre-dawn early morning visiting to munch it; squirrels seem to like digging around in it or sitting on it during the day while eating peanuts rather than sitting on the snow or ice. I get these delivered monthly with my subscribe-n-save Amazon service and they tend to build up in the summer; they still smell fresh and nice when I use them in the fall and winter. (Warning: squirrels will spread any leftovers all over the place because they're naughty.) Disclaimer: I did not taste the hay myself; I base the flavor rating based on rabbit enthusiasm.
