I needed a device to prevent doors in two rooms from closing all the way so my cats won't ever get accidentally trapped in those rooms. These work beautifully!! They are soft so they won't damage the doors or door frames, or make any noise when the doors try to close. They are also easy to put on and take off.

I needed something to keep my office door propped open - it drives me insane that it closes automatically. I use this on the top of the door near the doorjamb and it keeps the door about halfway open! I wasn't sure how it would work because it seemed most reviews just wanted it kept open 2-4 inches to prevent finger pinching, but I'm pleased to say it works to keep the door propped open further, too. My door is incredibly thick (2+ inches), but it stays on well and is easy to put up and take down. I can adjust where it is on the top of the door to determine how far the door stays open. I haven't had a problem with it popping off the door even though my door is so thick.

I have a cat that likes to lock himself in upstairs bedrooms and this keeps him from being able to close the door. I no longer have to worry about him being shut in a room if I happen to be away from home. Sturdy and easy to install on the doors.

I bought this to replace the squishy one that comes with the Door Buddy. It’s solid but flexible and fits snuggly on a standard door. Well worth it!

It would work well except I gave a thicker door (2in) apparently. Easy to put on and remove. You can put it on the side or the top of the door.

We use this to keep doors open in our house for our cats. It works great. We moved from a new house to an older house and it still fits the doors well. It leaves a large enough gap that fingers won't get pinched. After a few years now it is starting to not be as tight-fitting but still holds fine.

I teach at a high school where we have to keep our classroom doors locked and, because I’m near a main hallway, I don’t like keeping my door propped all the way open. But if the door is closed, it’s non-stop interruptions of knocking on the door by office aides and students who have left to go to the restroom. I bought a similar product that was made of foam that broke in one day from the force of the heavy door and the automatic closing feature. This is a soft plastic instead of foam, and is holding up GREAT!

We keep our cats litter box in our laundry room and I wanted to make sure no one closed the door and locked him out of it. This gets the job done.

great product. Don't crush or flip off door, like soft foam ones do, when it slams shut in wind. Have bought a couple. would definitely buy again.

Perfect for preventing door slamming and/or getting fingers pinched. Hard enough that it fit on the door and stays, but soft enough that it does not damage the door or door frame. Very easy to apply and remove.
