Had an error about accessory battery on a 2016 Mercedes C300. Replaced this module under the passenger footwell after watching some videos. Took 20 minutes, pretty easy and fixed the issue

Serious messages about aux bat come and go while driving, researched to discover what and where it is. Decided to buy as close to OEM part off amazon and this is the one. Identical and worked perfectly, used scantool to verify problem and checked voltage which was 5 volts. Swapped part, about 1 hour, then recheck voltage of "converter", after ignition turned on, and read the 12.3 main battery voltage. Success. Careful with the plastic clips.

Lasted less than six months. Already needs to be replaced. Appears to be a bootleg part.

I bought a cheaper one from Ch_na and after the bother of putting it in, it didn't work. The amazon return is fantastic and I purchased this one and it has worked perfectly. I would highly recommend it!!

Never charged and always had start engine error. Too late to return now. There's a reason it's 1/3 the price of genuine discount retailers.
