Sucessfully paired this with an old 2011 M505 laser mouse. I'd seen USB errors on the laptop (device not taking address) and thought it was the laptop that was at fault. On trying the old receiver in another machine, saw the same errors. So ordered this later version of the receiver.The M505 mouse is not specifically listed anywhere as compatible. But it works fine.Simple to pair the new receiver with the old mouse on a linux host with ltunify: `ltunify pair`. Turn on the mouse. `ltunify list`. All done.

This Logitech USB Unifying Receiver performs great with devices that support it. However, be sure to check compatibility before buying—it’s not compatible with the K380 keyboard. If your devices are on board, it’s a reliable choice!

needed a replacement for my mx master 3 and this works great, just plugin and it worked no setup needed.

On my usual rummage through the local charity shop, I found a wireless Logitech keyboard but it had no unifying receiver. So hence the purchase!Arrived well packaged and all intact!The device itself it exceptionally small as expected, so no large, dongle sticking out of my PC. Its only 3mm in size not including the USB connector which you don't see because its inside the pc/laptop.TO ADD DEVICESYou may have to download and install the Unifying Software from the Logitech website. It would of been nicer however if you just plugged it in and the software installed automatically. Plus I didnt see this in the instructions, I was just lucky enough to watch the video on the amazon website.You can add up to six devices with one receiver if need be which is pretty cool because Ive now connected my mouse and keyboard to the one device leaving me with a spare USB port on my PC. (Always a good thing!)I trust Logitech devices having used many of their products over the years and as expected this one does the job seamlessly. No loss of contact with the keyboard or mouse so far!Would have been a five star review but for what it is I personally feel its a little over priced, plus Im certain it doesn't mention anything about downloading additional software in the instructions. So for that it looses a star but overall, I'm still very happy with my purchase and would highly recommend it!

Doesn't actually work!! Not sure why it says unifying, as doesn't connect to any Logi device!

Works for my K400 plus keyboard, but had to download the Unifying Software as someone mentioned in a previous review.

Okay, so I got this having left my wireless mouse in the office and thought it would be easier to use this to connect another mouse I had. My main issue being my laptop only has 2 USB ports and I needed 3, if I was going to use each devices, separate dongle.I didn't get to try this as the 'unclear' part of the description, is that it only works with specific Logitech unifying devices, not just any Logitech wireless device. Ultimately, my fault for not really doing enough research but the concept is sound.I returned this to Amazon and went with a hub,to give me the needed connectivity.

I bought this for use with an MX Master 3 mouse on a Windows 10 computer, however, despite setting itself up when I plugged it in the first time there appeared to be a driver issue.This can be seen in Settings>Devices with a message such as "Driver is Unavailable" or "Driver Error" as seen in the image (side note, my mouse was connected to my devices Bluetooth when the picture was taken, not to the receiver).To resolve the driver issue follow the below steps and install all 3 softwares from Logitech's official website.1. Install Logitech Options software (allows you to customise your devices settings)2. Install Logitech Unifying software (does the actual pairing)3. Install Logitech SetPoint software (is for some reason required to make everything work, might just come with the necessary driver for the receiver)4. Open Logitech Options5. Click add device6. You should have 3 choices select add a Unifying device7. It should open the Unifying receiver app in a new window, follow the on-screen instructions to pair your device.8. You're done, your mouse/keyboard is now paired with the receiver, you can also plug that receiver into other computers without the need to install those softwares or re-pair your mouse/keyboard to the receiver.Hope this helps.
