Using it for USAR operations
I bought it to use in USAR operations; works extremely well for keeping info handy, drawing quick plans, measurements, etc. the plastic tether for the pencil will eventually stretch but that’s easy to replace with some shock cord.

Great little slate.
I wanted a small slate I could slip into my BC pocket to be able to write out short questions or ask instructions on where hand signals won't suffice. I have a large one that I use for classes and so forth, but it isn't fit for dragging along during a fun dive. This one fits perfectly into my BC pocket and is easy to write on. I can use it to jot down details of my dive plan, and the writing stays put until I use slate cleaner to scrub it off. I also appreciate the little clip so I can attach to my BC if I don't want to put it back into my pocket.

Perfect for Scuba Diving
I bought this to clip to my BCD while scuba diving. Quality is good. Pencil works great underwater. No complaints.

It works as a slate. You'll want to pack a pencil sharpener (or small knife) and something like a small "magic eraser" if you're going to do much writing...

Incredibly useful divetool
The slate is so useful and the perfect size! Was very useful when communicating underwater, writing a list of organisms I saw on dive, and also sketching unknown organisms.Cleaned with a magic eraser and a regular eraser afterwards for any "ghost" writing left over.

Super small , looks like a toy
It looks like a board for a baby , not even the size of a sheet of paper , super disappointing.
