Lights are awesome, but the stakes are broken in 3 months. Can I get replacments?

All these types of lights have stakes that can break off. What I've done is to take a narrow blade puddy knife and push two slots down in the ground criss cross from each other like the stakes are made. Then you have a pre made hole that makes it possible to insert these without breaking them off.

How far apart should the lights be placed?

It's your personal preference of where you want to place the lights and how many you want. For example, I placed 6 around our flag pole. I may add two more. I'm really happy with these lights!

I know these are solar lights, but do they also have batteries that must be replaced? Someone posted that there were no instructions for replacing.

Of course there are batteries. The sun charges them so the lights work in the dark. Same as the solar panels on a house. They don't need to be replaced unless they are corroded or malfunctioning. Then you buy a new rechargeable battery 🔋
