Great so far!
Been running this for about 5 months with an 83” OLED. Will fit 85-90”. Looks great, plenty bright, no issues so far. It also allows for color changes and dimming. I like that the stripping is black, as it blends in with the back of the TV more. Peel and stick installation is simple and holds well. RF remote control operated, so you can turn it off manually. I have a Sony TV, which doesn’t play nice with USB lighting, so I like that I can turn it on and off with a remote rather than unplugging it. Well worth the money. Other bias light kits cost a lot more.

Bright & vibrant. Take your time installing, and it'll look awesome.
I purchased and returned a different, cheaper brand of led lights because some of the bulbs were incorrect colors (didn't match the others), and the remote rarely worked at all. I researched online and decided to give this brand a shot. I was nervous, but these work perfectly. Colors are vibrant, consistent, and bright. Remote works perfectly. The corners are tricky to do. My wife and I were worried we were going to damage the light strip by overfolding or crimping too much, so we left the corners slightly raised - i.e. not completely fastened to the back of the tv. The adhesive on the rest of it was enough to keep it all in place. We plugged it in to the back of the tv for power, but when the tv is off, the lights turn off. So we re-worked it to be powered via a cable to a wall charger. It now only turns on and off by the remote, which is what we wanted. Finally, I googled how to cut the strip because we had an extra 12 inches at the end. I would recommend you check where to cut it before cutting it. It was easy, but I'm glad I checked first... I probably would've guessed wrong.Overall, I was nervous about how this would look and work, but it looks and works really great. Very happy.

These fit on a Sony 85" TV and helped with the perceived blooming
EDIT: The first 4-5 feet work now, but the rest of the strip stopped lighting up. I contacted the seller and they are replacing it free of charge. This is great customer serviceOriginal Review:I recently got a 85" Sony XBR85X850G which looks great, but has some blooming in black scenes which is mostly noticeable at night. I read the 6500k color range is what studios calibrate too, so that's why I got this set. This is my first time trying LED light strips.Install: The instructions were pretty basic and didn't tell you how to measure out the strips for different size TVs which is unfortunate. I measured the back and sides of the TV, did some calculations and decided to go 3 inches in (top and bottom) which worked out leaving only several excess inches which I cut off. The adhesion appears to be good, but I've only had it up a few days. This Sony TV has 3 USB ports and all of them are powered when the TV is in standby, so you can't use them to automatically turn the lights on/off with the TV. In addition, the instructions state the lights need 1A and none of the ports provide that although the lights did light up. I ended up using a smart plug behind the TV with a 1A USB adapter to allow voice control of the lights power. They remember the last setting, so that is a nice bonus. Otherwise, you can just use the included RF remote. The white color setting gave the best black results, although the various colors did look pretty cool. The only thing I don't like about this set is that the remote is RF rather than IR. Most universal remotes (e.g. Harmony) are IR and allow you to program custom buttons from another IR remote. While I am sure RF has its advantages in some respects, it forces you to use a 2nd remote to change any of the settings.

Quality Lights
It’s difficult to find backlights that display true white at 6500 Kelvin. Most have a bluish tint even when at their brightest. The other colors are full, rich and accurate as well. The length was sufficient to go all the way around my 75in. with about 6in to spare without any gaps. Installation took about an hour to do it right. I have a flat edge about the same width of the strip on all four sides I could use as a guide to keep it straight. As others have mentioned, I used tape to map out placement prior to final adhesion. Directions say to clean surface with alcohol but I used a cleansing towelette to remove dust with great results. Once I had it taped in place I was able to keep the strip tight while removing the red adhesive cover 3-4 lights at a time. Take your time with this step and press it to the surface as you go along, it will pay off when you’re finished. Make sure you trim at the gold lined area only. If the steps outlined are followed there should be no reason the adhesive to come off. I checked the USB connection for several minutes with lights at their brightest to ensure compliance with voltage without issues. I used blue paint tape to secure the USB wire to the back of the set to keep it clean and out of sight. The build quality, adhesion, brightness, remote function and price far exceed anything else you’ll consider purchasing, so just buy them you’ll be thoroughly satisfied.

Excellent! True white light! Discreet low profile black strip!
The media could not be loaded. I have a friend who had a different set of lights on the back of her TV. I wanted lights but thought hers were not attractive because it was a white strip and the back of most TVs are black. So I set out to find a different (better) set for myself which was not white. I began researching all the sets available on Amazon and decided on this one and I'm so happy I did! Not only is the strip black so it blends in discreetly, but its also very low profile so it doesn't stick out much. Then the best part - the light is so clean and true, especially the white! I love these lights and would buy them 10x over. The only one feature that I saw on a few other sets that I think would be amazing if they added to future models of this one would be if the lights could sync with the colors appearing on the TV screen so that it looks like the colors from the screen are spilling over onto the wall. Extremely pleased with this product and I am recommending it to anyone I know looking to backlight their TV.

Cool idea
I bought this for my 77 Sony A95L , but didn't want to stick these on a 5k grand TV, So I put it on my older Sony XBBR950B 4K LedThis is better for LCD ., If you have a good OLED you won't need backlight .

This bias lighting checks all the boxes!
The media could not be loaded. I just installed these LED strips on my Sony 65” A8H TV. I had a few criteria when selecting my bias lighting:1. Must have a dedicated white 6500k LED2. Must have colour LED (more for fun)3. Must be dimmable4. Must be a black strip to blend into the back of the tv.You would be surprised how hard it is to find an LED strip that meets those requirements. Thankfully I came across the Hamlite set and so far I am pretty happy with them. The LEDS are very bright and the colors are vibrant. In addition the adhesion feels strong and I don’t think they will fall off easily. I placed them at an even 2” from the edge of my screen for a clean look as the back of TV is visible from the hallway.I cannot say for certain if the white is 6500k as I have nothing to compare them against but I think it is close. I can say the light is NOT blueish white as some people have said.Overall I am pleased so far.

Bias lighting
Perfect length for my television. Easy to attach and gives a good amount of bias lighting. Would definitely recommend.

Fixed Backlight Bleed!
I bought this product to try fix the backlight bleed my 75inch TV has, especially when the room is dark. I can confirm that it definitely offsets the bleed enough, even at a low brightness (your use will vary). The black scenes now look a lot deeper and darker, as well as there not being any clouding or backlight bleeding. There's just enough adhesion so you could easily take it off the TV for whatever reason. I am a little worried the adhesion might not last, but so far it's stuck.Pros:- It fixed the backlight bleed- The control is easy to use- There's more than enough lights for a 75 inch TVCons:- The installation is a bit finicky, especially trying to curve the corners as suggested- Adhesion is okay, may not last

It works!
My wife and I love watching movies in dim conditions but suffered from eye fatigue each time. After reading about bias lighting and how 6500k colour temperature will help to alleviate this issue, I decided to buy this to try it out. It does works! Black looks darker and being dimmable makes it easier to adjust for usage in all kind of light conditions. Happy with this purchase!
