Although there's no instructions, if you're mechanically inclined in the least bit you can figure it out easy. I hit a deer, and honestly it wasn't much more just to get this instead of all the other parts I would have needed. Overall fit was pretty good also. Fog lights shine bright and to the sides, which is good for seeing the side of the road. Just need a winch and I'm good.

I would give the bumper a 4 star. It looks very nice once installed but the installation can be a bear and a half. I have a good amount of mechanical know how. If I had any less this would have had to go to a shop for install. There are no instructions but it's a pretty straight forward install. Where it goes sideways is when installing the bracket onto the frame. You have to cut a portion of the metal in order for the bracket to fit with the winch plate. The rest of the install is relatively easy with the exception of trying to line everything up to fit. There is definitely gaps and weird spots but overall the fit is decent. The line coming up from the radiator is a very close fit and makes some contact to the bumper as well. For a cheap bumper this is what I expected. If you buy this, go into it knowing that the install will probably take a little longer than a more expensive brand name one. I have attached a few photos for reference. I know a lot of reviews complained about packaging and damage. I'm not sure if I got lucky or they fixed it. My bumper and parts were wrapped very well. The outside of the box was tore and damaged but no defects on bumper.

Love this new bumper. For the price you can't go wrong. Had a friend who runs a local shop install it. He did some minor touch-up on a scratched area. The fit is very good. I have gotten many positive comments from friends, family and co-workers. One co-worker has a 2007 Tundra and is gonna order this same bumper. As you can see, I have added the D ring shackles and isolators. The winch is next! My Tundra did not come with the factory fog lights but the wiring for the fog lights was under the old bumper. I have ordered a factory style fog light switch with the wiring kit. This should be installed by next weekend. I will update with new pics. **Update** Switch installed for bumper lights. I think they look better than expected. They really throw a bright light on the edges of the road. I plan to install LEDs for the headlights next.

Be advised This bumper is so badley aligned while putting it togather from the factory that you half to cut and rewelded I tryed to fix mine and now am ordering another bumper from a different manufacturer very very dissapointed

The bumper is heavy gauge, especially the “skid plate” section that also holds the winch if desired. The bumper itself is well made structurally and is premium compared to factory garbage they are originally equipped with. My biggest gripe is the midsection “cover” got banged up in shipping. There is paint chipped off in several areas and it is bent at one of the inside straps of the two access holes on top. I can bend this back and cosmetically, it will be hidden when the hood is closed. The paint is an awesome textured break design BUT it seems to be a bit thin and brittle (do not bump it when installing). Sad that a few improvements would likely see 4 to 5 stars but that is the world we live in. They seem to try and pack it well but with the thin paint, expect chipped paint! I will probably have mine repainted with light coat of bedliner for added durability. Oh, the hardware they send (nuts, bolts and washers) are a joke. They are ALL one size with assorted washers. I had to cut some of the large washers because the slots are cut way to large, especially for the factory bolts (at primary flange connection) that must be reused because, as I mentioned their hardware is all one size. There was NO installation directions at all but not really difficult to figure out. I decided to keep and continue with mine as I can work around the issues found. Otherwise, improvement in shipping protection, thicker/better grade of paint and proper hardware is a definite issue to consider by seller AND buyer if these are not improved.

I bought this item because I needed a utility winch for my profession, and this was an economical choice that worked out very well.Update, 11/16/2022 this bumper survived an impact from hitting a mule deer at 60mph and was completely unscathed, this bumper paid for itself as it was the price of my insurance deductible.Great value.

I put this bumper on my 2008 Sequoia SR5. The Sequoia has the same front end as the Tundra. The only issues I ran into were using the frame brackets that are absolutely necessary if you are going to use a winch or the recovery points. I had to grind down a bit of the pinch weld in order for these brackets to land correctly and make the attachments and give more clearance to the AC tube. This is something I am comfortable doing and it added about 30 minutes to the installation, but overall, for the price it was well worth it. I'd love to see this company make some compatible front skid plates to go with the bumper. It looks pretty good and gives much better approach angle. I may or may not put a winch in it. I bought it because it was inexpensive, required no welding, and got decent reviews. I am going to beat it up, so why would I spend a ton of money on it? I'm saving that for the suspension lift. I hit bare spots with some Rustoleum now and then.

My bumper came early which was great. It was hard to find directions but I know my way around my truck. The fitment for the product was not exact so I have to bring it to someone to alter it. I brought my concerns to the company and I am extremely pleased with how they handled the situation. I thoughtI wish I had went with a different bumper, I can not discredit how well the company handled all the problems I had. I don't think any other company would have responded the way this one did.
