Well made product the burner pot is just as stated & no more rust.I absolutely love it vs the old one.The probe and burner pot is a easy plug and play 15-25 minutes of work to swap out.To make it easy on yourself.Remove the 8 screws on the bottom of the hopper to access the wiring you may need to cut a zip tie or 2 to get the wires free.Make sure to remove the rubber grommet where it goes in the air channel above the blower fan.Remove grill gates and take the 4 screws holding shield and burner pot in place remove the burner pot by twisting from back to front and it should come off the auger tube then loosen the screw holding the hot probe in place pull it out of the burner pot then remove the burner pot.DO NOT PULL the wire or probe out at this time.Now wrap some tape around the old hot probe end & new probes wire plug end then simply pull it through slowly till the old probe is out and the plug comes to the grommet location.I had to wiggle it a litte to get it through then removed tape slid the grommet over wire and back into place then plug the new wire back in and if needed use new zip ties to organize the wires away from the fan put the 8 screws in and your done with that part.now go back to the burner pot place the probe inside the new pot and tighten the set screw to hold it in place.now work the burner pot back over the auger tube it will be a tight fit but it will go work from back or front twist it into place.

It fits perfectly well in my Pit Boss Pro 1260. It took a bit longer than 20 minutes because the older one had two of the four screws stripped out but we finally got it out and it really did go in quick and easy after that. This set is a big improvement over the original as the screws are tall, they include a tray to assist getting the ash out and the black enamel coating should last longer. I'm very happy to have my grill back like new for less than $30.

On time and as promised. Fires right up and we were back to smoking.

Pot is well built and was a perfect fit on the 780 but the wiring connection on the heating element will need to be spliced. It says it fits the 780 but only half of the product is a direct replacement. I would give 5 stars if modifying the product wasn't required or maybe an adapter was included. Still a great product!

This is a fantastic improvement over the original part. Not only is it heavy duty, but it’s made from cast iron, which gives it real durability and heat retention. Installation was super simple and it connected directly to my existing hookups with no hassle. I also love that it came with a handy tool to remove pellets from the fire pot in case of overload, such a smart touch! I’m so glad I replaced the old, rusted-out original with this rust-resistant upgrade. Definitely worth it!

Easy to install Pitt boss Austin xl 1000It comes with the screws to replace in case the existing ones were Rusty and strippedI got the porcelain version. It looks exactly like the oem just coated and fits perfectHelp full hint you don’t need to drop the hopper bottom just pry out the control board with a screw driver carefully working your way around ( I recently replaced my board unfortunately didn’t replace the rtd probe which I’m doing now) and feed the igniter in from the hopper sideHook it up the the new pot, rotate the pot about a1/4 turn it will slip right inUsing the new screws tight it upPlug and play on the board white purple plug

So far, so good. Austin XL 1100. Install was quite simple and no issues with heating up. I will update this review if it gives me headaches. I do not anticipate any.
