My Pantry Just Got a Serious Upgrade and Looks Way More Italian!
Alright, fellow keepers of snacks and dry goods, let's talk about pantry organization. For years, my pantry was a chaotic landscape of half-eaten bags, rogue pasta shapes, and sugar that had mysteriously solidified into a single, impenetrable block. It was less a pantry and more an archaeological dig of past baking attempts. I needed order. I needed style. I needed these Bormioli Rocco Fido Collection glass jars.I saw these online and was immediately drawn to the vintage look and those lovely blue lids. They looked like something you'd find in a charming Italian grandmother's kitchen, probably filled with homemade tomato sauce or mysterious pickled vegetables. My plastic containers, bless their utilitarian hearts, suddenly looked very sad and boring. When these jars arrived, they felt substantial. Solid glass, sturdy metal clamps, and those beautiful blue rubber seals. They have a satisfying weight to them. Filling them up felt like a small act of domestic rebellion against clutter. Pasta went in one, rice in another, and sugar (which I now vow to keep dry!) in a third. Clamping down the lid feels incredibly secure. It's like locking away precious culinary treasure. The airtight seal is fantastic. My dry goods are staying fresh, safe from moisture and any ambitious pantry moths. My crackers are actually crispy for more than a day! This is a game-changer. Plus, being able to see what's inside at a glance makes meal planning slightly less of a guessing game. No more accidentally buying a third bag of lentils because I forgot I already had two hidden behind the rogue cookie tin.Beyond their practicality, they just look good. They've transformed a messy corner of my kitchen into something that looks like it belongs on a Pinterest board titled "Effortlessly Organized & Charming." My pantry is now a source of quiet pride. If your pantry is a disaster zone, if you're tired of stale snacks, or if you just want to add a touch of vintage Italian charm to your kitchen, these jars are fantastic. They're well-made, practical, and make even humble dry goods look elegant. I'm thoroughly impressed with this stylish storage solution.

Good-looking, sturdy jars with a tight seal
A few years ago, I purchased two of these jars in the 67.5-ounce size to store gummy bears, dried fruits, crayons and Legos for the grandkids - you name it. I've wanted to pick up a couple of smaller ones ever since, and recently I purchased these two 33.75-ounce jars to complete my set.All four of them are in regular use. Not for canning, which in a way is sort of a waste of good canning jars, but realistically, I don't think it matters that much. The point is that they are well used! The mouths of all four jars are the same broad diameter – generous enough to fit my hand into without squeezing or cramming. There's even room enough to reach in and withdraw a fistful of hard candies. Unlike flimsier ones of this type, after repeated use the lids still swing freely open and closed. I've had containers in the past with wire bails of weaker metal, and after several times opening and closing, the weight of the lid bent the wire just enough to cause dragging. No amount of effort straightening or reshaping them ever made a difference. They closed crooked from then on. Not so these jars!I'm using the 33.75-ounce jars to hold raw sugar and powdered coffee creamer, must-haves for my morning coffee. So far, I've had zero issues with them of ANY kind. The jars, as well as their lids, are hefty - the glass is quite thick. The clamps are pretty stiff, ensuring a solid, leak-proof seal. Stiff enough that the wire lever strikes the side of the jar as you lock it shut. At first this caused some concern that I might break the jar, just getting it properly closed. But after a few days it became evident that the strength of the glass is more than enough to withstand the impact. While I haven't done it (not yet, anyway), I'm pretty sure I could also knock these jars off onto a hard floor, and they would survive just fine. They're that sturdy. These days it's rare to find a product of such excellent quality, either in materials or workmanship.Plus, they look great sitting on the counter and lend a homey, old-fashioned touch to the ambiance of the kitchen. They remind me of times spent with my grandmother. She used bail-wire jars to can fruits and veggies from the garden. When I was there in summer, I would help her, shelling peas, snapping beans, and peeling tomatoes and peaches, while I listened to stories of bygone times. The presence of these jars in my kitchen brings back such warm memories. How could I not love them? I wouldn't hesitate a second, recommending Bormioli Rocco jars to anyone. They're super!

Best glass jars for storage
These Italian made jars with bales and rings are the best for storing anything important to you - - food, grains, candles, whatever. Wash them in the dishwasher. Keep brown sugar and yeast fresh. No worries about them being fragile. I have some over 30 years old. They last a lifetime and are pretty to boot.

so pretty
I live on the Texas coast and all my crackers/ chips get - old? - in no time once they are open. Turn stale in one day. So, I decided -, mason jar! Now, once I open some crackers, chips they go in one of these. Seal great. And they are so pretty! The cobalt blue is great - prettier than I expected. I got 2 large, 2 medium, and I'm thinking about the little ones. They are pretty, functional, well made, seal great! Highly recommend!

They look and feel like quality
Yep. These are jars. But the glass and the hardware does feel a little higher quality somehow, and they look beautiful sitting in the fridge. If that matters to you.
