Great addition
Adds power to the Ryobi tool family. Battery charge lifespan a little shorter than the standard 18v battery but the added power more than makes up for it. A good addition.

Will not charge
I am extremely disappointed in this battery. After the original charge (as delivered) it will not charge again. I have now tried it on three different EGO chargers. This battery is the problem. All chargers work on other batteries and this battery will not charge on any charger.For $100 - I expected to get many uses out of this battery. Not one and only one use.Update - The seller contacted me and said they would make it right. I sent them photos of the problem. Amazon now tells me the seller has left Amazon. Looks like I lost $100 trying to save $50. Buyer beware.

These batteries are awesome just as good as the ryobi ines but alot cheaper and work great in all my 18v tools

Good
Work great. Holds a charge for a long time. My only issue is taking the battery off the tool. I can't reach my hand around to hold both buttons to release. My husband who has large hands also struggles to do this.

Works well. Mowed the lawn completely on a single charge.

A step down
This was my 2nd 56V 5.0aH aftermarket replacement battery purchase, replacing ones that came with devices (a mower and a blower which were Ego brand). Amazon hasn't been consistent on brand offerings, which is annoying. My first replacement battery has been just fine, with charge lasting as long as the Ego ones -- but it is no longer available. This one has less than half the capacity (by lawn mowed). It also stops without warning when it's low on charge. (Both Egos, and the 1st aftermarket one, give warning, but continue to work for a bit.)Since these aftermarket replacement batteries are much less than half the cost of Ego branded replacements, and my two current batteries get me through my mowing, I'll deal. But once I've found one that's good, it would most certainly help if I could buy it again. In the meantime, you are probably well served to try another brand.[Review Update] The supplier sent me a 2nd battery for no charge, which was great, so I bumped up the rating 1 to reflect. Unfortunately, the 2nd one was identically as bad as the first in terms of performance, so I will stick with the gist of my first review.

Have performed well so far.
I have had these for about 6 weeks now and they have performed extremely well. I primarily use them in my Ryobi electric lawnmower and I am able to get much more done with them than with the batteries that came with the mower. I am very pleased so far.
