Great product
Great product, easy to apply as long as you do a small area at a time. It seems to dry quickly.

Beautiful Slick Paint Surface!
This was so simple to use, and I noticed an immediate difference! Right after using the clay bar to prep the surface, I used this product. We applied it with a buffing power tool, which made the entire process so much faster. Gel goes on very nice, but be warned. It can spray all over the surface, so know that you may need to redo a few spots due to overspray with the power tools. Gorgeous shine to my paint, and water beads very nicely! Highly recommend.

Love it. Not hype. But proper prep is critical.
I'm totally re-writing this review. I was unhappy, but it turns out it's because I was lazy and didn't prep properly. The instructions were lacking, and they downplayed the importance of proper prep. Now I've meticulously buffed the entire car and as long as I re-apply once or twice a year, it's always smooth and beautiful. One absolutely critical point they failed to mention. After washing, clay, buffing as needed, you MUST wipe entire car with an IPA solution (simple 25% Isopropyl Alcohol in a Home Depot sprayer). This removes the residue from the cleaners, especially if you used compound (that uses an oil suspension). Failing this step will cost you several months of lasting power. In fact, it'll be mostly gone within a couple months of parking outdoors. With IPA (and proper cleaning before that), it'll be golden for at least 4 months, and even 8 months later it'll be good enough that you just have to do a quick wash, clay, IPA, and re-apply.Now I have a buffer

Nice product but little on the pricey side
HydroSlick works well. Easy to apply but not so much to wipe off. You have to apply a thin coat and only wait about 1 minute before wiping off. If you wait too long or apply liberally then you will have a workout. Not sure how durability this product will last but it does work.

What is this stuff?
Believe the Hype – HydroSlick Delivers!Saw the mixed reviews here on Amazon—some people struggled with clumpiness or application, but the overwhelming positivity won me over. So, I ordered it.While waiting for delivery, I went full detail-nerd mode, binge-watching every Chemical Guys tutorial I could find. I wanted to do it right.Fast forward to today—my wife and I prepped the car with Chemical Guys Clay and Spray Lube. Super easy—spray, glide, wipe dry. Took about an hour on my 2019 Ford Edge, and the paint already felt like glass. Then came HydroSlick… and let me tell you, application was a breeze. 4 dots on the applicator, dap around, spread, done. A single set of dots covered the entire hood. 30 seconds later, we wiped it down with microfiber towels two), one to remove, one to buff. Now, here’s where it gets real. My wife—who is never impressed by car products—was buffing when she suddenly said, “Damn.” I asked, What? She just looked at me, then at the car, and said, “Look at it… it’s beautiful.” And she was right! The shine? INSANE. The process? Effortless. The smell? Cinnamon magic. They say it lasts 8 months on a garage-kept car, but honestly? We had so much fun, I might be a “HydroSlick every 2-3 months” kind of guy.If you’re on the fence, just add it to your cart. You won’t regret it, I promise!

Slick and Shiny!
A few months ago, I re-painted my old Subaru wagon with a Didspade's Blue Iris supershift pearls. Dust from the local dirt roads collects on her, and I wanted to see if the Chemical Guys had something that would make it easier to clean and maintain her fancy paint job. Their ceramic HyperWax is like nothing I've used before. It was tricky to apply, as the jiggly blue clumps of product would rather roll off of the microfiber cloth (and onto the ground) than stay on or absorb into the cloth. Unlike a traditional paste wax, the product also seemed to all dump out across the first wipe, and subsequent wipes laid down very little product. It was also hard to see the areas where product had been applied, and needed to be wiped off, versus areas I already wiped down (the dried product does not have much contrast against my color(s) of paint?).It took me 2 hours to wash the car and apply the HyperWax , and the sun had gone down by the time I was done. I immediately noticed that the treated paint felt as slick as ice! I imagine that the many hours of sanding and polishing of the clear coat must be contributing to the extreme slickness effect. The next morning, when I saw the car sitting in the early sun, I could not believe how much more the paint popped! After wiping off the overnight dust with a California Duster (the dust wiped off with zero resistance), I took some photos of the freshly treated paint job. Even though a photo cannot express the actual dynamic sparkle and shimmer of billions of light-splitting facets reflecting into your eyes, the pictures I posted hint at the immense storm of delicious optical brilliance that now radiates from the color shifting paint. It's been 2 days, and I could not be more satisfied with the visual enhancement and the super slick feel from CG's HyperWax.I wonder how long these awesome effects will last?
