Wavy Girls Unite!
This is the best purchase for my "wavy girl journey" yet!! I discovered at 55 that I have wavy/curly hair. 2b to 2c, maybe? I've been cutting my hair short or torturing it into straight submission half my life. Now I've found with my new routine it keeps getting curlier as I let it grow. Many of the things curly girls say to NOT do, work on my wavy hair. I wash my hair daily and leave some of the conditioner in at the end. I never use a comb or brush on my hair, only finger combing, and NO Towels. I squeeze out the extra water, turn upside down, rake in curl cream and then also rake in a liquid gel. I feel it distributes the product and also reduces roping, which is not good for my wavy hair. Then I use a tshirt to scrunch out water and extra product and lift toward my head encouraging curls. No rubbing and no hands from this point on! Then I pull out this baby, which I am calling my miracle diffuser!!! I’m short and older, so using other big hair dryers with bulky diffusers never worked well because they are long and heavy. Also it never allowed me to get the hair lifted close enough to my head from my upsidedown position because the diffusers were too "deep". This wonderful thing is more compact, lightweight and dries my hair very well on medium speed using high heat to start then medium heat when it starts to feel hot. I Love the settings options!! I lift my hair up and hold the diffuser still against my head for about a minute. Once I've been over about 12 sections on my head about 4 different times I flip my head up and do a little more at the back. I dry my hair until it's about 85% dry then I rearrange it into a loose part and I'm on my way. I wait about an hour and then flip my head upside down again and lift and "scrunch out the crunch". I finish using a little oil on my hands to lift and scrunch in as well. I'm so happy about this product I may buy 3 and store them so I'll have one for the rest of my life!! I've had this one for many weeks and it's perfect!

Super convenient and quality
This is Way more convenient than putting an attachment onto a blow dryer because sometimes the attachments don’t fit every blow dryer and I ended up breaking mine and this is just way more convenient because I can take it anywhere and I use it all the time and it works perfect.

Good for travel, like it don’t love it
I use this for travel but prefer a regular-sized ionic with full diffuser attached because this one has a shallow cup and my hair is too close to the heater element due to the truncated design. My curls come out a bit flatter and less fully formed with this as opposed to my regular dryer but much much better than a regular travel dryer. Glad I found it. Not too big for a small suitcase, a relief to have something predictable decent for my curly hair when on the road.

Exactly what was looking for!
I have medium length thick slight wavy/curly hair this diffuser is so light weight and doesn’t take up much room in a small travel bah dried hair but keeps the curl I used with the Deb’s curl kit and results were amazing! Definitely faster than my typical blowout followed by a flat iron. Made my waves and curls so soft and defined I had a whole new effortless look. Very pleasedwith is purchase and I do recommend it to anyone looking to go curly without frizz.

Love it
Works great, took me a few tries to get the feel for it but it’s SO much easier to get the back of my hair. I can diffuse my whole head without needing to give my arms a break.

Great dryer you will not regret buying
I never write reviews. This thing was so amazing that I decided I had to post one. It is different from a regular hairdryer. The way it dries my curls is amazing. I’ve gotten several compliments on my hair over the last month since I started using this. I have used a lot of hair diffusers over the years but something about this one is just different. There is a slight burning smell in the beginning but no worse than the first time you use a new flat iron, the first time I held it was a little awkward, I use it on full high heat and don’t have any issues. I was slightly paranoid that my hair was going to get stuck in it but it has never happened yet and I’ve been using it every day for a month. Bottom line this dryer is worth it. You won’t regret buying it.

Normally I love Revlon products....
but I vote no on this hairdryer and will explain why. I have wavy hair and have been trying different methods for drying/styling my hair for volume. I am using the "Curly Girl" styling method, and thought this dryer would be great not having the long nozzle of a conventional hairdryer. That way I can hold it close to "scrunch", and also flip my head upside down to dry without straining my arm, especially for the crown & back of my head. Out of the box the 'Revlon 1875W Natural Texture Diffuser Hair Dryer' felt lightweight and was compact, which was a major plus as I was going to try it for travel. Prior to my trip I wanted to give it a trial run. I plugged it in and noticed that on the low fan setting it was annoyingly loud. On high it was intolerably loud... Since I would be holding this close to my head to scrunch my hair, I was worried about the noise level potentially damaging my hearing over time. At the very least it may leave ringing in the ears for a period of time. No thanks. Also, as other user(s) commented, I noticed hair could potentially go into the larger openings of the grill of the dryer, even with the diffuser on, especially when drying with my head upside down for volume. It's not worth risking my hair getting caught and wound up in this dryer. Nor is it worth potential hearing loss. Perhaps the unit I received was defective with regards to the noise level, but I don't plan to try another due to the risk of hair getting caught in the blades. I have owned 3- Revlon nozzle hairdryers, 1- Revlon flat iron which I LOVE and, 1- Revlon curling iron and have had nothing but positive experiences. It pains me to give this Revlon hairdryer 1-star, but they need to go back to the drawing board on this one.
