Excellent copy of original cable
Really good copy of the original cable, fitted perfectly and works. Materials used are not quite the same quality so I expect the metal parts and cable to wear faster but still likely outlast the already aged straighteners. I would give a 4.5 if possible as it’s just short of a 5.

Just the trick
Quick and easy to fit replacement power lead for my wife's GHD hair straightens. It literally took less than 5 mins to fit. I just looked on YouTube on how to replace and followed the step by step video. No more moaning wife telling me she needed new straightens because they were broken. Definitely the cheaper option of the two 🤣

Fits the 4.2B perfectly, Remember to Swap the fuse
Simple replacement for the 4.2B model. Took about 20 minutes to do the job watching a you tube video. No messy soldering just a few screws and unplug and plug new part in. Be aware the original cable is protected by a 3 Amp fuse but the replacement is 13 Amp. For safety reasons it's very important you swap out the 3 amp fuse for the 13 amp one. This is the only reason for dropping from 5 stars to 4 stars. Should be supplied with the correct fuse for the appliance.
