Alera ALEIS6624G 24 in. Seat Height Backless Industrial Metal Shop Stool - Brown

I am disabled and unable to stand very long. I use this stool mainly in the kitchen, and anywhere else I need it since it is light enough I can take it to which ever room I need it in! It is very sturdy. I was able to attach the top ring myself and my son did the bottom ring. To clean it I can easily just wipe it off.

10/10.This shop stool is just like the one you had in high-school only new. The pre made threaded holes are very good quality. Assembly took the whole of 5 minutes maybe. End product is very solid and perfect for sitting at counter hight work bench. And for being this inexpensive you won't find a better option.

Heavy duty stool at the perfect hight, great purchase.

As with virtually anything that Amazon sells or for that matter, Walmart, if it looks like it needs to be assembled, it will need to be by the purchaser. It was relatively easy to put together, although the hex key that was included would not be adequate except to tire ones fingers and possibly make them hurt; to use a small drill with a hex bit would be much more efficient, as I did. it is very sturdy, but the wood piece on the top of the seat which is inset with the whole metal frame of the seat itself, has very rough edges of wood that could’ve easily been smoothed out by a simple automatic center at the factory. There’s no way to remove that piece of wood and do it with it in hand, so one has to fingertip sand it all around the edge over and over again until one doesn’t find either slivers or cut someone’s fingers every time one touches it in the wrong spot. The manufacturer would’ve been just as well off to make it a 100% metal seat and avoid the wood entirely. I am clueless as to why something similar like that didn’t occur to the manufacturer, other than they are likely from another country and never spent any time in a chemistry lab in high school or college.

Sturdy stool. I use it at my work bench to make my crafting easier. Not heavy. Wide enough seat (I'm chubby).

I've become so used to being disappointed by the quality of most products in recent years that it was a real pleasure to get this stool. The design is excellent - right down to the lock-tight patches on the screws. The manufacturing is beautiful. The value compared to other stools available is outstanding - right down to the allen wrench included for assembly. The only thing that could possibly be improved would be if the edge on the masonite seat had been sanded smooth a little before assembly.I whole heartedly recommend this product.

Right height, well made, works for me.
