Don,t know what the potter ton was like but the green means the supply is on and the red means it is calling for heat.GEOFF

No, it’s not back lit. When central heating is on the little light on the top right comes on.

Is the wires same as heat miser prt B

No The PRTB is a 2 wire (L & SL) and battery powered.... the DS1 needs 3 wires to work (L, N & SL) and is mains powered

Is this the DS1-E for underfloor heating?

No, this is a normal room stat. Underfloor heater stats may have a different temp range so you need to check this out first before ordering anything. Cheers, Geoff
