I have successfully crimped these connectors on both 16 gauge and 14 gauge wire with total satisfaction. The heat shrink feature works great with my 578 degree heat gun. I highly recommend this supplier and this product as it does exactly what it is supposed to do. Like anything mechanical you have to pay attention to get a good crimp. If you do that you will be totally satisfied too.
